24.01.2022 Some built in robe units awaiting the oak floating floor to be laid. The kick faces will then be fitted and doors will be hand painted on site.

19.01.2022 [shared from Instagram] The Victorian Ash no/low tox kitchen weve been working on for little while now has really started to take shape this week. Its only fitting that there is one of our more normal kitchens being built in the background (the 5th for the year). Next week well be cutting and assembling the material for the doors, drawers and fixed panels, before we set about the epic task of spraying the clear sealant on all the components before final finishing.... https://www.instagram.com/p/BuLzFrPAG8R/

15.01.2022 Our (now second year adult) apprentice completed his first-year project last week. He was very happy to see it finally finished, and that it passed with flying colours as well. Maybe next time hell stick to the brief and keep it simple. Well done Rus.

15.01.2022 3 handleless wall hung vanities faced with local stringy bark. The stringy bark was milled approximately 20 years ago and still came up a treat. This project was a joint effort between ourselves and the craftsman who taught me my trade. It was great to have the old band back together.

15.01.2022 Erm, so we had the NBN connected at Stonehaven on Friday. It turns out that means our phones wont work now. Telstra are currently working on the problem at their trademark lightening pace. 05.01.2022 Solid Vic Ash kitchen drawer units well under way in the shop this week. These units are for a unique build consisting entirely of low-toxicity and/or natural products. Made entirely from solid timber and utilising all non-toxic glues and finishes, this kitchen will be both 100% environmentally friendly and stunning to look at.

04.01.2022 Another week gone, and were Getting closer... This custom Victorian Ash kitchen island bench is taking a more recognisable shape in the shop this week. Weve made all the fixed panels with shadow lines to the match doors and drawers so that, once finished, the only distinguishing difference between them should be the handles. Its details like this that make this project very special (and a little bit tricky) to build.

02.01.2022 A pair of matching bedside tables made from recycled sheep yard timber and red gum. Definitely a conversation starter and something a little different to the norm for us with the raw ends. The colour in the timber is just magnificent on these beauties.
