25.01.2022 Social anxiety is a real thing at present, especially as restrictions have eased. Things that may help include: go at your own pace without putting pressure on yourself - ease your way back into social environments. plan ahead to stay a certain amount of time -this gives you permission to leave or perhaps stay longer if comfortable.... know others feel the same way - people tend to mask feeling socially awkward. try finding one person in the crowd you feel comfortable with - and staying with them as much as possible. know your confidence will grow again over time - we are all getting used to being in social environments again.
