25.01.2022 Have you ever experienced not having money to buy what you need? Our heart and mission goes out for women who do not have the means to buy bras and underwear. It breaks our heart seeing some women not having the support they need. Please help us! We have upcoming events and we are lacking in bra sizes 22/24 and 26 in all cup sizes. And size 8/10 new underwear with tags or in packaging.... We would appreciate for the donations to be in good/almost new condition, with tags or in packaging. 20.01.2022 We are so grateful to have been supported by the City of Gold Coast through their Covid-19 Community Hardship Grant. It is helping us purchase much needed face masks to keep our Gold Coast volunteers safe along with our friends as well as purchase toiletries and underwear for vulnerable women and girls in our communities. Our Gold Coast team has been supporting women throughout Covid hence our toiletry and underwear stock had got to critically low levels. This helps us enormously.

"Hi Alison & all of the Wonderful Women that came to Lou’s Place today I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!... What you did today was really uplifting, terrible pun intended, for all of the women that were lucky enough be fitted. I’ve had so much happy feedback about the service, everyone left feeling so special... and comfortable! The last client just left the service and she told me I feel young again!, so I think you should add Access to the Fountain of Youth to your service description. Lou’s place would love to have you come back again on an ongoing basis so I have CC’ed Lavender onto this email as a point of contact for now. I hope I see you again sometime in the future somewhere! 12.01.2022 Collaboration and education is the key to supporting our communities and understanding what is needed. We were delighted to have the support of the Year 11 cohort from St Hilda's School, Gold Coast last week. The young ladies did a fabulous job or tagging bras, wrapping Christmas presents and writing the most heartfelt positive affirmations. I have to say a big thank you to Fiona Paterson one of our incredible volunteers and a parent, who coordinated the event and to our wonderful volunteers who supported on the day. We will have some exciting news to share soon that has also been supported by the school. As an ex parent of the school, it is wonderful to see such a positive collaboration. 07.01.2022 Our fabulous volunteers spent this morning continuing with the massive task of unpacking and unwrapping all the bras from @bestandless. The bras are only suited to younger girls so we are donating them to multiple schools across the coast to ensure schools girls from Year 6 and upwards have bras and dignity. It has been heartbreaking to hear the stories from so many schools of students that do not have them.
