20.01.2022 A big call... but possibly some truth in it...
15.01.2022 It was only recently that eBay ran an advertising campaign with the slogan 'Bye, bye retail'. Even more recently, they were actively encouraging consumers to stay away from bricks and mortar shops. On the one hand they try and run 'traditional' retail into the ground, but on the other, present itself as a retailer's best friend. The reason why retailers feared eBay... was as a result of eBay's own 'doing'. It also raises the question as to why the NEWS journalist doesn't dig a little deeper and uncover the real behaviour of some of the big online players.
