03.01.2022 As of yesterday Florida became the 15th state in America to ban the import and export of Shark fins!! The new law prohibits the import, export and sale of shark fins in Florida. Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor, and face a fine of up to $9,500 for repeat violations and license suspension or revocation.... Shark fins are used to make soup which is popular in China. The shark fin prohibition in Florida takes effect on October 1. We’d like to take this opportunity to call out Australia on its outdated shark net laws.
