14.01.2022 Welcome to "Surprisingly Port Adelaide (c)", an initiative of Mander Advertising. Surprisingly Port Adelaide aspires to demonstrate the unique renewal and growth of the Port Adelaide environs and communities. Thanks to a resilient, loyal and hard-working community, "The Port" is set to once again thrive with the backing and assistance of both Local and State governments. Steeped in brilliant maritime heritage, Port Adelaide and the Le Fevre Peninsula once represented Australi...a's third largest port. Surprisingly Port Adelaide is interested in promoting the amateur photography of Port Adelaide and its environs through a series of digital slides that will be displayed on LED and LCD screens by Mander Advertising on a not-for-profit basis. If you've got some great shots of street-scapes, venues, heritage, maritime history, buildings, sea and river shots that promote Port Adelaide and environs, then we'd love to share them for the benefit of the community. Mark them as yours, and if people want copies/prints we'll refer them to you. We'll help promote your business (and others), events and digital photography art through these pages. The Surprisingly Port Adelaide LED/LCD series will be non-commercial, but will promote places, venues and events. Contact Neville Mander on 0417 007 527 for further information.

08.01.2022 Series One kicks of with some of my own photos of Port Adelaide environs. This is the theme contributors should aspire to. Its about changing perceptions of Port Adelaide and presenting a contemporary image that invites tourism and visitors to benefit commerce.
