08.04.2022 We celebrated Chinese New Year with a traditional Lion Dance that helps ward off bad spirits and brings good luck! The children had the opportunity to see the costumes up close....

22.01.2022 This week our centre is proud to be celebrating NAIDOC Week which highlights the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Here our SHELC children are demonstrating their creativity and expressing their appreciation of our nations Indigenous heritage.

It has been a wonderful week of celebrations at Surry Hills Early Learning Centre as 3 of our Beautiful Children who have been part of our SHELC Family for over 4 years commence the next chapter of their lives. 11.01.2022 Surry Hills Early Learning Centre are proud to announce our recent partnership with The Ted Noffs Foundation and Noffs Charity. Our wonderful Children and Families have been so generous with their donations for our Noffs Charity Clothing Drive. Today, our preschoolers helped deliver our first clothing bin collection. They were so excited to be part of the SHELC 'Helping our Community' project!

09.01.2022 At SHELC, we understand how busy our parents are and how important the health and wellbeing of our children is. Thats why we organise a dentist to visit the centre. This helps us introduce dental hygiene to our children by way of a check up.

08.01.2022 With so much wet weather lately, our SHELC children have been keeping very busy with all the amazing indoor activities planned by our wonderful educators. Science experiments, Baby yoga and Indoor soccer have become part of our daily fun!

08.01.2022 Egg Hunts and Anzac Biscuits! What an eventful April we had with our SHELC Children celebrating Easter and learning about Anzac Day. It's astonishing to watch these creative minds engage in the activities our Educators have planned for them.

08.01.2022 Our SHELC Children have been doing such a wonderful job keeping their hands clean during this COVID-19 crisis. Through experimental learning, our wonderful Educators have been demonstrating how quickly germs can form and attach themselves which is why it is so important to continue with our daily hygiene practices and Wash, Wash, Wash our hands regularly.
