03.01.2022 Definetely SASHIMI WEATHER TODAY!! #Repost @theweekendfoodie Tried @sushijones in Alexandria last night. The main sashimi was an absolute highlight. Fresh and tasty. They use the exxy wasabi, the type that melts in your kikkoman soy sauce... not the ones you'd get RSI just from mixing. The grilled cheese and salmon roll was a bit too salty and too much going on. It wasn't for is, we will probably just order classics next time. Takoyaki was on point and freshly made.... Delish! Tempura curry was huge,I really liked it, Sam thought it was salty but ended up liking it anyway. I want to try their katsu/kaarage curries... oh we also had Saké - i believe it was the fruity infused one. I personally prefer hot saké - Junmaishu, especially in winter.
