07.01.2022 Front squats are an awesome lower body exercise, especially if you want to build up those quads However, a lot of people avoid them as they find it difficul...t to get into the ‘front rack’ position. This is typically due to a lack of wrist mobility or tight lat muscles. If this is you, then here’s a super simple way to still get the barbell in the front rack position and keep it there safely for the duration of the set. Just chuck a couple of lifting straps on the barbell and away you go!! Make sure to keep your elbows up nice and high- think of your elbows as laser beams shooting out in front of you it’s a great cue for keeping that nice shelf for the bar to sit on Happy squatting!!
