22.01.2022 One of our recently finished 5000 tillers that went north to Cairns. Powered with a Mercury 115 Pro XS, it definitely got moving nicely. It travels on a Mackay KRX off-road trailer and is set up as the owner requested. Great tough set up

19.01.2022 Few pics of a just finished NQ 4650 Tiller powered with a 90 Hp Suzuki. The boat is fitted to a Mackay off road trailer and has some standard options fitted. It topped out around 35kts and cruised very nicely in the mid 20's. It will be heading up to Cape York shortly to get blooded. They are a great all round package with off shore capabilities. Short video in comments.

19.01.2022 Hope everyone is going as good as they can through the current Coronavirus issues we are faced with. We are busy in our shed building boats as usual. A few pics of a couple recently completed boats that the owners have taken to finish off themselves. One is a 5600 Rear console with an APX150 hp Suzuki and the other is a more traditional layout 5800 that will be powered with a 175 hp Suzuki. Stay safe everyone!

18.01.2022 Great to get emails as the below. Nothing has been edited. Hi Col I thought I’d give you some feedback on my NQ Fisher 6000. Its about 2 years old now and I’m just about to tick over 300 hours on the outboard. The boat is bloody brilliant. This is my 5th boat and its honestly the best one I’ve owned and better than anything I’ve been on.... I had to do a bit of fine tuning to get the best out of it. It was bit heavy in the ass with the V6 Suzuki so I moved the batteries up the front under the casting platform. I also lifted the outboard two holes which improved the fuel economy. A bit off fine tuning really brought out the best in this boat. In hindsight if I did it again I’d have bigger casting platform for more storage but that’s about the only thing I’d change. I hope to move back to North Queensland in a couple years so you’ll probably see it back to upgrade the casting platform. The V6 Suzi is awesome. Heaps of low down grunt and I don’t have to work the throttle when I’m out in big seas, it just keeps on plowing along without bogging down. The only other change I’m thinking of making is a four blade prop but the current setup is that good I’m not sure it will be much benefit. Hard to justify the cost when its already good. Thanks for an awesome boat mate. Cheers, Ian

15.01.2022 New NQ Fisher 6000 rear console ready to head off to Darwin. This is first of a few boats we are finishing before Xmas. This one is powered with a APX DF200 Suzuki swinging a 16 x 20 prop and tops out at 40 kts. Has most standard style options fitted, 2 of Simrad NSS12 Evo3 MFD’s flush fitted, Sea deck on the cast deck and tube rubber matting on the main deck,50 ltr fresh water tank and on a Mackay MLJ open channel steel trailer. Nice clean boat that will be a great Xmas present for the owner.

08.01.2022 NQ 6600 Maxi Centre Console heading off to Brisbane to be completed by owner. It will be powered with a V8 Mercury 250 hp. Pics show the layout and options chosen by the owner. This is one of our favourite hulls with a 23 degree deadrise and water ballast keel at rest .

08.01.2022 Another happy owner in his new NQ Fisher 5800. It has a 2 Mtr long cast deck with heaps of dry storage underneath, nice sized canopy, 24 V Minkota, large ice box seat, live bait tank, deck wash and a few other options. It is powered with a DF175 Suzuki and performs very nicely along with great economy. It’s fitted on a Mackay Alloy trailer and is a great under 2000 kg package that is very capable offshore and not to big to tow up and down the coast.

06.01.2022 This is our last boat being delivered this year. It is a 6000 Maxi hull with a 23 degree dead rise and water ballast keel. The owner is having a 250 Honda fitted before taking it home to Weipa. You can see the standard options fitted in the pictures but include cast deck, live bait tank, deck wash and transom door. It has a 36 volt Motor guide powered by three Full River Dc120 AGM batteries . ... It also has a 12-36v DC -DC charger to help them stay topped up on extended trips. Two 12 inch Echomap Ultra 125 sv Garmins are fitted on the console. The owner built and supplied the trailer. A very practical set up that will hammer with 250 hp on the transom. Will post up some on water shots when the owner has it finished. See more

03.01.2022 A couple 5000 tillers off to be completed by their owners. The pics show the different layouts the owners wanted. One will have a 115 Hp and the other a 100hp engine fitted.

03.01.2022 Some pics of a recently completed 7.5 x 2.7 Walkaround Cuddy for a customer in West Australia. This boat has the works and more fitted to it. The list of options is extensive but the pics will give you a fair idea of what is in it. Powered with twin 250APX Suzuki's the performance is superb. Cruising speed is 30 kts at 4000 rpms with a top speed of 48 kts. There are 2 Simrad NSO19" Screens on the dash and a NSS Evo3 12" screen up top on the second station. There is a 3 kw a...nd 1 kw transducer built into a full length fairing block running along the keel and it reads clear bottom at all speeds. The JL Stereo has 6 speakers, 2 Subs and 2 amps and the sound is sensational. The owner has thought of everything for this boat and offered us some awesome challenges to fit it all in, but rewarding in the end. The result is above everyones expectations with lots of smiling faces and will be freighted to the West next week. Suzuki Marine - Australia Ryan Turner Simrad Yachting
