24.01.2022 Big thanks to those who dedicate their time to make life wonderful for the dogs waiting for their forever home. Here are just some of the wonderful walkers and workers at the Haven volunteering their time to take the dogs out for their walks at the park.

23.01.2022 The kindness of people during these uncertain times always brightens the days and nights of our 4 legged friends. So many wonderful people have donated food, treats, blankets and toys and wed like to thank you all for your generous donations. Its heart warming to see our best friends enjoy the comforts of those in a home, while waiting for theirs and that is thanks to the kindness of you all. 20.01.2022 Update :- Karma has been adopted. **New Resident Alert** Hello, my names Karma and Ive just moved into the Swan Animal Haven (until my furever family is found that is). Im a sweet, happy, young girl with lots of energy, so Im looking for a family who can keep me active and spend lots of time playing with me. ... Im very eager to learn and adore people but as Im new here the wonderful workers are still trying me out with other dogs and cats and are learning new things about me everyday. 20.01.2022 Big thanks to the Monday crew (Staff & Volunteers) for the pics and videos of the Haven dogs joining in on the festivities and picking their own Christmas presents. They certainly look like they had a lot of fun :) (videos are in the comment section)

18.01.2022 Update :- Adopted Annie is a sweet senior, Dachshund, Staffy cross. Annie is full of energy, loves playing with her toys, zoomies with her friends and simply adores cuddles and belly rubs. When its hot this little sweetheart loves nothing more than a paddle in the water, (she does like her feet touching the bottom) Annie is not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets. 13.01.2022 Hi, My names Jason! Im a fun loving young boy, who loves to play with other dogs and make my hoomans smile. I love taking a dip in the big pond we have here and chasing my ball (although I havent figured out how to give the ball back to the hoomans yet). I was a really good boy when I met a cat recently but as Im so playful & still learning when my playtime is too much, I wouldnt be suited to a house with young children. I can also sometimes get a bit frightened by m...ales but with the right, calm introduction I have become friends with quite a few men around the Haven and really love their company. 11.01.2022 I was delighted to visit the Swan Animal Haven with David Templeman MLA and Stephen Price MLA - Member for Forrestfield and hear from Gail and Sylvia that they ...currently only have 6 dogs at the shelter, while getting cuddles with Chloe. The Swan Animal Haven is one of the organisations currently receiving funding from the McGowan Government through the Companion Animal Shelters program - helping to provide a service to rescue unwanted pets and promoting responsible pet ownership.

09.01.2022 About 10 years ago Caesars (aka Geezy) dreams came true, he was adopted by the most loving family and his life changed forever. If enthusiasm could be a middle name, it would be his. Caesar hasnt always been the easiest boy ( and still keeps his Dad on his toes ;) ) however, his family embrace every bit of his quirkiness and spoil him and his sister Aria rotten. The quote, "gone in 60 seconds", does nothing to describe Caesars smashing down his favorite treat. Found only at "The Magic Window". Bring on the Geezy burgers..... 07.01.2022 We cant believe its been a whole year since our big move! Were so grateful to everyone who pitched in to help either in the weeks/ months before & after along with the huge job on the day. Our resident dogs over the past year have very much approved of our new home with its beautiful green grassed play areas, plenty of space to run and especially our big pond which has seen plenty of action over the summer! Were still in the process of upgrading our new premises so keep ...an eye out for more updates in the near future! Thanks again to everyone who helped make this dream a reality and for all of your continued support!

05.01.2022 Bonnie is still looking for her forever home. Bonnie is a American Bulldog, 8 yrs of age, but don't let her age get in the way, she has a much younger soul. Bonnie is super friendly and would do well with a large, male dog (pending meet and greet) or a home on her own, as long as someone is around to give her all the love she craves. Bonnie is a super smoocher, she loves her cuddles and belly rubs. She is good on the lead and enjoys her walks at the park. Bonnie may be suited to a home with older dog savvy children ( because she is on the larger size, she may accidentally knock smaller children over) If you are interested in Bonnie and would like to know more about her please contact the Haven directly on 0498 235 680
