25.01.2022 'Morning Chores' One of my paintings from last year. There are a couple of paintings that I never got around to sharing with you guys so here we go. (delayed sharing partly because I get a bit lazy with spending time on social media) Paintings shows two lorikeets preening their feathers early morning. A typical sight in Australia if you are out and about early morning. It's an essential maintenance task for any bird which servers many purposes and they have to do it everyday.... 23.01.2022 Been working on this painting today. I had finished it previously but wasn't happy with the background and some other imperfections. So revisiting it to give it more depth and fix some colours.

23.01.2022 It's coming along nicely... so far happy with the outcome. Yet to do some bright colour details and then highlights. Perhaps some shadow correction after that. Also want to add some elements to the background landscape. Hope to finish this one this week. It has been selected as a finalist at the prestigious 'Stanthorpe Art Prize 2020' which is organised every second year by Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery . 15.01.2022 'Sleeping Beauty' was inspired by recent bushfires that Australia went through this year. Over a billion innocent wildlife lost their lives to it, which is a huge loss to Australia. This is my tribute to that event. The painting portrays a koala sleeping peacefully enjoying the best moments of it's life. I normally tend to use watercolour as an under layer for pencil work. But this time I decided not to do that. Not sure if I am repenting yet!
