14.01.2022 After a discussion held at the SWARMS general meeting today, Sunday 21st June, it was regrettably decided not to proceed with the annual September Fun fly for 2020. This decision was based on the hygiene standards that have been imposed for public gatherings with the Coronavirus pandemic still active, it was felt that it would be too difficult for the club to comply with these sanitising standards to ensure a safe venue was provided for all attendees hence the reason for the cancellation. We look forward to a bigger better event in 2021 sorry for any inconvenience may cause.

09.01.2022 Dear Members It is necessary to conduct a general meeting to finalize the details for the Flyin weekend 22nd / 23rd September and the scheduled weekend planned for this to happen just happens to be Fathers Day, so the date for the meeting will need be Next Sunday 26th August commencing at 10am at the field. 08.01.2022 Due to a break in over the weekend, we are closed for business today. Please be aware that a large number of DA engines, Powerbox, Futaba, Spektrum and Jeti pr...oducts have been stolen. This was a very targeted attack and we are a small strong RC community where news travels fast and cheap products will be obvious in the marketplace. Please help us and notify immediately if you see any new products, particularly DA engines for sale. Serial numbers are all recorded. We will be sharing this list of serial numbers when we are able to. Please share this around Australia for us.

06.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder that Sunday 22nd is the scheduled RFDS / Roger Veen tribute day and it is all looking good for a great day out, morning tea will be provided by the Veen family and YES the lunch menu has been changed. Due to your good response with numbers up we will be served with Erica and Trevors famous Beef Gravy Rolls for lunch these are not to be missed. Had a few concerned members contact me relating to the weather forecast on the day, however, I am positive it will be good for flying, regardless of the conditions the event will still go ahead so make sure you get down there and enjoy the family day out socializing with the other members sharing the same passion.
