24.01.2022 Orange roses on green 60th Birthday cake. 2 layer chocolate sponge, 2 layer vanilla sponge with smaller vanilla sponge cake on top. Jam and cream filling with a vanilla bean buttercream on 1st tier. Top tier covered with marshmallow fondant. Roses and leaves made with marshmallow fondant. Silver cachous for details and a silver heart topper.

First time doing white fondant on a chocolate frosting. Turned out beautifully. The embossed collars with silver cachous and black ribbon look so pretty. Handmade glittery hearts and buckle.

15.01.2022 Sadly this weekend will be the final cake that I will be making in Werris Creek. Thank you to all the wonderful customers and family and friends who have had cakes made. it has been such a joy being able to create beautiful sweet things. 12.01.2022 Lactation Cookies. I am starting to think that these may be addictive! So yummy and they really work. This recipe is vegan friendly base and the flavour combinations are limitless. Favourite flavours Ive made so far include: Macadamia white choc Cranberry white choc... Cocao, Chia and honey roasted nuts Any mummas out there interested in trying out Lactation cookies. 11.01.2022 Made a dense moist white chocolate mudcake with white chocolate and maple syrup ganache. Dont make many mudcakes as I personally prefer the lighter fluffy vanilla cakes but this has to be one of the nicest recipes Ive tried. Was looking forward to using the flowers and trying new things with the marshmallow fondant. Flowers, aqua marble, bows and silvery pearls - what more could a girl ask for?. Even made a special batch of dairy free cupcakes for my little man so he could join in the cake eating! Very pleased with the final outcome of this yummy cake. I have had a wonderful Birthday day with family and a friends.

10.01.2022 Showing the process from sketch to cake. This was technically just a two layer vanilla cake and 12 cupcakes worth of rich chocolate cake. Whipped cream, fondant and chocolate details, Oreo crumbs and frosting. The train, trees and plastic Happy Birthday and 4 were picked out by the customer . Total cost = $45

08.01.2022 Happy 2nd Birthday to an absolutely adorable little man! Has been asking for a Hey Duggee cake since March this year and he was thrilled with his special cake. Made to accomodate dietary restrictions, this cake was lactose free chocolate pudding frosting and jam filling with dairy free chocolate and vanilla cake. Yummy marshmallow fondant to bring Duggee to life.

04.01.2022 Getting ready to make some fondant...what colour is your favourite marshmallow? I like white best, toasted over campfire . This fondant is so easy to work with and doesnt have the sickly sweet taste of regular fondant.

Had experimented with two different flowers and decided to go with roses. My birthday is coming up soon so I have an excuse to make more cake to use them!...
