25.01.2022 This could help keep our students busy at home https://www.facebook.com/656504134466509/videos/508502723432567/?sfnsn=mo&d=n&vh=e

18.01.2022 Hello Swimable families, For your information, this is a document provided to us by Swim Australia detailing the relationship between COVID-19 and swimming pools. This document was prepared for Swimming Victoria and written by Love, J. R. We hope everyone is staying happy and healthy while we wait to find out when we may be able to re-open. https://drive.google.com//1GzgIjZmx5hOS29LqrG7Edutjh/view

18.01.2022 Following the announcement made by Daniel Andrews on the 7th of July, unfortunately we have to postpone our re-opening which was tentatively scheduled for July 20. For those who have already been in contact with us and made bookings for Term 3, we will leave those bookings in the system so that we have an indication of your preferences when we are able to reopen. Please be assured, for any customers who made payment for Term 2/holiday program in advance, your credit will be applied when you return to lessons. We are disappointed that we need to postpone but hope that these restrictions help all Swimable families and staff stay safe and healthy. We cannot wait to see you all back in the pool.

15.01.2022 We hope you are all keeping happy and healthy during these difficult times. We will update you as soon as we have any news regarding our reopening. In the meantime, please enjoy some of the fun coloring in sheets that were sent to us from Zoggs! Bring in your artworks to Swimable when we reopen and our favourite will be featured on our website and the artist will receive a free pair of goggles!!!

09.01.2022 Update: Hello Swimable families, We hope you are as eager to get back in the pool as we are!... We are currently working towards an opening date of the 20th of July. CBC is currently repairing damage to the ceiling from the storms earlier this year. These works are set to be completed by the 13th of July. Provided there are no delays, the first week of Term 3 classes will be dedicated to providing makeup lessons to those who had lessons cancelled due to the shutdown in the last week of Term 1, hence the commencement of our regular classes on the 20th of July. We are still working on the details on how we will adjust our program to meet with regulations; however, provided there is no further increase in Victoria’s restrictions, we hope to see you on the 20th of July.

01.01.2022 Hello Swimable families, While outdoor pools have been allowed to open up under heavily restricted conditions with the announcement made on Sunday, we still have no details about when and under what conditions indoor pools will be able to reopen. Unfortunately, this means that we will not be able to reopen until Term 1, 2021. We had hoped to be back for Term 4, 2020 but it is not possible to immediately open when we finally are allowed. There is a great deal of work involved... in scheduling classes, staffing, and updating and operationalising COVID Safe Plans once we are provided with information regarding the restrictions that we will be required to adhere to. The students have already missed Terms 2 & 3 and it would not be practical to come back for just a few weeks before the long Summer holiday. Please be assured, those customers who made payment for Term 2 and/or the April 2020 holiday program in advance will have their credit applied in Term 1, 2021. We will look at opening the week prior to Term 1 to provide the make-up lessons to the students who missed the last week of Term 1, 2020 due to business being shut down. We are hoping that the case numbers continue to decline so that Melbourne is able to move to the next step after 19th October, 2020. Please stay safe. We look forward to a great year in 2021. Best regards, Team Swimable
