23.01.2022 Happy birthday dance for Josh and Boris... plus a welcome dance for Nathan and Hind who are from Canada and who had no idea about our classes last night - but had literally flown in from Canada 2 hours prior and just happened to be staying at the accommodation at The Exford Hotel where we teach. They heard the music upstairs and came up and jumped into class!! What are the chances?!

13.01.2022 G'day CBD! It's DANCE day and tonight we've got 2 action pack classes for you. In our 6pm beginner class were going to change up the rhythm we've been using the last couple of weeks. It's a perfect week to join if you've been meaning to come along and haven't had the chance yet. We start from scratch each week and new dancers are always welcome!... We've got practice time/social dancing from 7 and then in our intermediate class at 730 we'll knock it up a notch and learn some variations on some classic moves. In addition to washing your hands thoroughly before classes start, we ask that you all sanitise your hands before, during (if needed) and after classes. 03.01.2022 1 DAY AND COUNTING till we are back swing dancing! Tomorrow's our first class for the year at Swing Patrol CBD and we're so excited to meet you. If you've never danced before or have friends who you've been wanting to bring along, this week is the perfect one for it. They'll be tonnes of new dancers and we start from scratch each week. Beginner class is from 6pm (perfect for just after work).... Social dancing/practice time from 7 till 730 Intermediate class at 730 (we can't wait to see our intermediate students and dust off the cobwebs from the summer break tomorrow) $18 cash at the door and second class on the same night is half price. Come along to classes tonight and we'll put the dancing in your feet, and together we'll get it into you hearts and souls.. We've got some super dooper stuff planned for tonight's two classes. We are going to go NUTS and give you several of our favourite moves tonight. You won't want to miss tonight.... And... after a week of being all MIA, SARAH IS BACK! *hold the applause*. Let's make sure... she shares double the amount of styling tips and general wisdom tonight as punishment. ;) 6pm - TOTAL BEGINNER CLASS - Brand to to swing dancing, or still wanting to study and get those basic rhythms and moves down? This is the perfect class for you. Tonight will be all about our 6-count swing rhythm. Some rhythm, technique and a ton of fun moves including some spins, turns and dips! Why not grab a mate from work and drag them to class tonight? You won't regret it. And also, there's always beer and pizza at our venue to help make a night of it. 7-7:30pm - SOCIAL DANCING/DRINKS/QUESTIONS 7:30pm - LEVEL 2 INTERMEDIATE - This class is perfect for those dancers who know all the basics and want to explore variations, styling, deeper technique and broaden their swing dace vocabulary. Tonight we plan to offer some footwork variations, some spins and something special to end the phrase with! We've got it all! Bring your shoes and don't forget to arrive early for social dancing.
