24.01.2022 It's Friday once more, and the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the bees are buzzing, and its our night to fight! Come on down to Billson Park in Albury to once more be a part of our games, and remember, if you bring a friend, you fight free, and if its your first night, you play for free, and we'll even have swords and shields available to borrow! When: 6pm Sign-in, 6.30 Start.... Where: Billson Park, Albury. Cost: $5 for returning players, $2 for sword or shield hire, $3 for both. If you bring a friend who is new, you play for free, and if its your first night, we'll have a sword and shield waiting for you. As always, remember to bring water, and to be smart. While we don't have the smoke or rain of previous weeks, the heat can still wear you down.

22.01.2022 Hoo-boy, folks. The Border has come down, and it seems we are in for an invasion! In saying that, it would be good to see some locals there as well, so we can have a big bash, and a good chat about our plans going forwards! It's set to be a scorcher, so if you have a little pop-up tent, or a gazebo you could bring along, that'd be much appreciated. 19.01.2022 Due to the current State of Emergency, we have no choice but to support, and follow the actions of the Swordcraft Executive. If we were to continue running, it would be putting not only our own health, but yours, at risk, and that is not something we wish to do. Once the Pandemic is over, don't you worry though, we'll be back, and better than ever, letting you know exactly when and where, with plenty of time to spare. So, for now, we say goodbye, but this is only a temporary hiatus, and we will see you in the future.

And remember, we are still running our bring-a-friend promotion, so if you want to play for free, bring a friend who has never played with us before!

15.01.2022 Hey folks! Hope you are all staying safe in these wild times. We are all itching to start back up again, and have some big things planned for the future! Now, if you weren't there on our last night, we just want to let you know, we are looking at changing our time slot and day we run, to make it easier for players to get there, and not only that, looking at making it a longer event each time. So, with this, we are looking at forming a more narrative aspect to the games, detai...ls of which are to come down the line, but it will be much similar to those ran by other chapters, with high stakes, and high rewards for those who play. So remember everyone, stay locked in your own Fortress of Solitude, and if you have to go out, stay out of Melee Range of the folks around you! We hope to catch you all again, once Swordcraft Albury/Wodonga starts once more!

Things are in the works to get us going in the future, and hope to see you all on the other side of this! In the mean time, tell us what interests you, or what you love, most about Swordcraft! For me, it was the opportunity to be a part of a community of like minded people, getting up to shenanigans and adventures, and building some friendships along the way, which I definitely have. Swordcraft has become a major part of my life, much bigger than I initially thought it would be. I have friends all up and down the east coast now, all thanks to this wonderful community. - Stumpy

10.01.2022 This weekend's event!

09.01.2022 With the border open and the skies shining its time for more fighting. Due to the expected warmer weather we will have an alternative health system. Everyone has a base of 4 and will be grant bonuses to a max of 3 (7 points total). The requirements are.... 4 hp (No fancy kit, just clothes.) 5 hp (basic soft kit. Tunic, pants, belt combo) 6 hp (advanced soft kit. Boots, hat or hood, gloves, jewels, dangle bits) 7 hp (any armour over/incorporated into/under soft kit like Chain maile, breast plate or leather) It is going to be warm so please bring water, if you desire towels, change of clothes and sunscreen. There are showers available for use in the change rooms. Games will run for max of 15 minutes before we cut for water break and shading etc. Game modes: Terrain, -We will have 2 deep canyons, if you step in the marked area you tragically Wilhelm scream to your death. -However there is a pair of old rickety bridges that cut across, they will be narrow and treacherous. No running across the bridges. -there are 2 spawn points, hopefully we can get 2 Gazebos up to provide shade while you respawn. We have 2 game modes we'll run. Capture and hold and escort the VIP. Total Annihilation is in consideration if we want a change up. Capture and hold. Both teams need a banner/iconic warrior/spellcaster who will need to stand in the centre uncontested to score time. At the end of the round the team who held the centre for the longest will win. Respawn will be 10 seconds at your respawn, if you are dead signal it with weapon raised or on your head and return quickly and safely. Escort the VIP. An old merchant is stuck in the canyon crossing, both teams want to return them to their Spawn point. A player may lead the VIP at walking pace with a hand on shoulder. Should the VIP reach a spawn that team wins. The VIP is a non combatant, you may not strike, shoot, hide behind or risk injury on the VIP any one doing so shall be smited, if repeated offence you may be asked to step out for the round. Sign in is 1pm play will start from 2pm the latest. Pack up is 5pm. Please bring proof of registration, sign the covid list and have your money ready for our lovely Elf. We are located at the Ian Barker Fields.

08.01.2022 Hey, hey, it's Saturday! But in all seriousness, ask 3 different people the same question, and get 3 different answers, that is what it's like trying to predict the weather, so, we are going to trust our eyes, and our ears. At the moment, there are dark clouds looking, but it is nice and sunny, so unless that changes rapidly in just over 3 hours, we will still be going ahead. Please remember to register if you are planning on playing today, and to possibly bring a change of c...lothes, and a towel, as we now have the keys to the toilets/changerooms, meaning, you are more than welcome to make use of them on this most glorious of days. 07.01.2022 Hey all! We'll be fighting on the side of the field with lights tonight! Plans are for a battle over a single bridge tonight, with the game modes being banner/item plant at a central spot, and capture the VIP. Remember tonight's game is $10, as we'll be going twice as long! Hope to see you all down at Bilson Park after 6!

07.01.2022 Hey all! Just an update to our registration policy! As of Saturday, we will need to have everyone switch over to this, in preparation for the changes we've talked about. As a regional chapter, we are still waiting to set up Game Passes, so it is imperative you choose the last option, Pay As You Go, or PAYG as it is most commonly known, otherwise we cannot verify your payment. You will need to bring either a print out, or the email you receive on your phone, to show us you ...have registered with this new system. This coming game will be the last we will take registration on our forms, leaving only our warband and evil player registration able to be submitted via Microsoft Forms. Remember.
