Thrive on Arts will see The Empire Theatre come alive with artistic activity and interactive experiences across four days of the Spring school holidays... from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th. Participants of all ages will explore their world, indulge their creative instincts and get carried away by powerful music and storytelling.

12.01.2022 A new network of Creative Business Advisors, led by the Regional Arts Services Network (RASN) on behalf of Arts Queensland and DESBT (Department of Employment, Small Business and Training) has been developed and aims to support individuals and organisations in Queensland. RASN’s new Creative Business Advisor program will connect arts industry experts with Queensland artists and arts workers, creating meaningful professional development opportunities that support emerging and ...established artists to progress and thrive Connecting arts professionals with expert advice and guidance builds skills that contributes to individual employability and organisational transformation. Creative Business Advisors will be acknowledged leaders in the sector. They will use their high level expertise and the ability to impart knowledge to increase the sustainability of artists, arts workers and arts organisations including regional, remote and rural communities. Through online arts business advice and coaching, Creative Business Advisors will build the competency and capability of artists and arts workers across Queensland, leading to increased employability. These positions are additional to the service already being provide by the RASN network and the application process is through EOI, this is now open and closes at 4pm on the 21 December 2020.
