20.01.2022 Bradon French, Synod’s Youth Ministry Coordinator, has always been a colourful character, but this week he’s looking especially in fine feather and it’s all f...or a good cause. Bradon’s new hairdo is part of the Neuroscience Research Australia Colour Your Hair campaign, which coincides with Mental Health Week. As someone living with depression and anxiety, and acutely aware of the negative impacts on our emerging generations, I’m hoping to raise awareness and some much-needed funds for research, he said. The more we can learn about prevention, treatment and support, the more hope we have to ensure every young person can thrive. Mental Health Week raises awareness and lift stigmas, as well as providing an opportunity to support organisation working in this area. Originally, Bradon was hoping to raise $750, but he’s already passed the $1200 mark, which puts him in eighth place nationally. He has now set his sights on reaching $2000.
