25.01.2022 All the rolls! such cuties.

23.01.2022 Small dog syndrome is something we see all the time. It also doesn’t exist. However - It is often something we laugh and make jokes around. Mainly because we as humans feel that smaller dogs are not a threat and their aggressive behaviours can be looked at as cute. Therefore I often see small dog owners who do not intervene or seek help when they should. Evwry dog deserves to feel safe and consident in any scenario.... Meanwhile with larger dogs humans feel more intimidated because of their size. Unfortunately this means large dog owners get harassed more often than small dog owners when in fact smaller dogs are more likely to be presenting aggressive behaviours. (Due to bad experiences) Most of my large dog clients will seek help earlier than small dog owners because they fear the looks from people if their dog is scared. All dogs deserve to be understood, and all dog owners can get help if they want it. Do you have a small little terrorist at home? Or a large scared cuddle bear? In my lifetime I have had the pleasure of growing up with both, a lovable terrorist: Jack russel terrier named Zigge, and a cuddle bear German Shephard called Zacko.

02.01.2022 October update on me. If you would have told me I would still be in pain and unable to function properly after two months I would of called you crazy. Alas here I am. I have a wonderful medical team looking after me and helping me keep my spirits up. And my darling Zoey smothers me in kisses and love every day to help me heal. ... I see doctors on a weekly basis and do physiotherapy multiple times a week. I am seeing a PTSD specialist this week to help me moving forward and then I am also going to the RNSH pain clinic in November to build me a plan and program for my future. I will get through this and come out stronger than before. Life throws you curveballs from time to time, it is ok. I am lucky to be alive and that I will always be grateful for.
