20.01.2022 Glaucoma is a progressive eye disease that damages the optic nerve, causing gradual painless loss of peripheral vision (or tunnel vision), ultimately leading to blindness. It is managed through a variety of procedures such as specialized eye drops, and in extreme cases through surgery. Studies have shown that there is a high chance of getting glaucoma if a family member suffers from it as well, and often people are unaware they have it until it is too late. If you are concerned about the health of your eyes or a loved one, please call us on (02) 9221 3775 to book an appointment with us today.

14.01.2022 In August 2019, Associate Professor Andrew Chang, Thomas Pham, Ran Wan and Dr Thomas Hong travelled to Cambodia, home of the famous temple Angkor Wat, to provide vision restoring cataract surgery to underprivileged people. The Australian Health Humanitarian Aid (AHHA) is a not for profit organisation that provides free cataract and eye surgery, medical and dental care by Australian volunteers. Furthermore, with the assistance of AHHA, our team was also able to distribute close to 1200 water filtration units to these remote villages giving them access to clean drinking water in the hopes of improving their quality of life.
