The development of a statement to reflect the scope of the NSW ACE sector was a recommendation from the review of the NSW ACE Program. Minister Lee released the statement on 10 September 2020. This is just a snapshot of some of the colours that can be created and plant materials used, the possibilities are endless! Onion skins are still my favourite, especially on silk or wool yarn (we collect bags of them in our house ready for the next dye project!) Some other favourites are Eucalyptus (cinerea and nicholli species), rosemary, avocado stones, passionfruit rind, coffee grounds, carrot tops and cherry blossom twigs.
