24.01.2022 Heres a slideshow from a job we completed a few months back. 4 high rise residential towers right on Sydney harbour. Wayland Access & Rigging PTY LTD was contracted in to remove and replace all external guttering and selected down pipes and some leaking internals. We spent nearly 3 months on site here and I can honestly say were really gonna miss this place, with million dollar views from every facade and lunch on the water every day who wouldnt! The job itself was technical and everyday the rigging presented new and interesting problems to overcome. The crew excelled here, overcoming all the issues that were thrown at them and the end result was a credit to them. Great work people!

23.01.2022 Good morning Bondi, are you going to stay dry today??

22.01.2022 Heres some pics of a weeding and planting job the crew completed on a steep embankment this week. Over 300 plants were put in at this retirement village and the residents were thrilled that this backdrop has now been restored and they can see it establishing from their balconies! Well be revisiting this one for some maintenance next year and cant wait to see how its coming along.

19.01.2022 Hows the view from your office today?

18.01.2022 With all the rain lately is was great to get a nice dry job! The crew was engaged to raise this giant ceiling centerpiece into place, only a few hours to do the job between the floor varnish drying and the grand reopening. No problem for the Wayland Access boys! @ Greenwood Hotel

16.01.2022 Whatever sort of roof covering you have, Wayland Access & Rigging has the perfect Anchor system for you! At this apartment building there was a 50mm insulation layer and 75mm of aggregate on top. We selected the 200mm post anchors and set about the process of digging, cutting, drilling, fixing and testing before putting the whole lot back around the new anchor. The result is a super strong anchor suitable for fall arrest and abseiling, protruding just enough to keep the ropes away from the pebbles. These anchors, when used with the correct cement seal perfectly over the top of the existing membrane, so no need to get the waterproofers back in to seal around them.

14.01.2022 1st morning back after a 4 day weekend and straight into a 16 point aid climb anchor test! #heightsafety #anchortesting #aidclimbing #abseiling #anchorcertification @ Parramatta, New South Wales

14.01.2022 Whilst carrying out a certification on an existing system we found a row of chemset anchor points set up to work in tension. They had been there in use and certified for years. The client (who was also the main system user) couldnt believe hed been paying to have a potentially dangerous system approved! He gladly approved the new anchors to be fitted and old eyelets cut off. Luckily no-one had ever taken a fall on one of these, as the chances are they wouldnt have done their job..... #heightsafety #anchorupgrade #safetyroofanchors #safetyfirst #jobdoneright #ropeaccess

11.01.2022 Heres a few pics of a roof ladder upgrade and anchor point installation we completed just before Christmas. The previous ladders were old and although compliant at the time they were installed, they fail to meet modern regulations. The new system is safer and easier to use, and backed with a 10 year manufacturers warranty! #heightsafety #sayfa #ropeaccess #ropeaccesstechnician #ute @ Sydney, Australia

01.01.2022 Happy New Year Everyone! Sorry weve been quiet on FB so far this year but weve been busy. January 2018 has seen the Wayland Access techs doing rail, rail and more rail! We started back on the 2nd Jan with a Sydney light rail maintenance shut which ran for 10 days straight, then sequential weekend shuts saw us travel from the top of the Blue mountains to the Hawksbury river. All this in a record breaking heatwave which saw temps approaching 50 Degrees! This slideshow shows just one days work on the Hawksbury, the only access was by boat and day ones task was to clear around the tunnel portholes and rig the trees down between the overhead wires so they could be removed for processing though the tunnel. Great start to the year, big thanks to all the techs and promise it can only get easier from here!!
