24.01.2022 As we take this time to reflect on the past year I can't help but to remember back to 1992 when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II described the year as her "Annus Horribilis" (for the record the writer is a staunch republican). Well I think we can safely say this year has certainly been a "Annus Horribilis" for all of us but the SCTC Christmas Shoot certainly provided a bit of Christmas cheer. It was great to see 18 full squads of shooters from all around Sydney taking part a...nd certainly the rain gods, whilst threatening all day, thankfully held off. Congratulations to all the winners and the SCTC committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all its members and friends for the strong support and encouragement over the past 12 months. Things will only get better. Have a safe and Merry Christmas and we look forward to shooting again in the new year. 23.01.2022 Awesome day the weather was hot and sunny with good targets Thank you to all you shooters for the great turn out on Sunday. Congratulation Rony Bou-moussa the club champion-champion of champions... Rony went in to a shoot off and took out the 2020 Champion of Champions with a nice 145/150

22.01.2022 In 2021, at Sydney Clay Target Club, on the 13th and 14th of February we will be hosting, the "1st Annual Johnny Crompton Memorial Shoot". This will officially be the 1st competition we will be hosting in his memory, to honor his dedication to the sport. This is our token of appreciation, to be able to hold this event to honor the great man by. It's a gathering of family and friends, enjoying what John loved best, shooting. We will be hosting an ATA Style event in Johnny's honor. Please familiarize yourselves with the rules and regulations. Come out and join Sydney CTC on this special occasion.

22.01.2022 We regret to advise that Sydney Clay Target Club will be postponing Johnny Cromptons "Memorial Shoot" which was to be held on the 29th and 30th of August. There was a lot of thought, consideration and conversations, had, between Sydney CTC and Gary Kennerson, and a decision was made. Following the rise of COVID-19 cases and the closure of borders and interstate travelers that would have attended to honor the great man, we only found it fit to postpone the event for a later date. It is also our commitment and obligation to ensure the safety of all our members and guests. Regards Sydney CTC

22.01.2022 A big congratulations to our very own Sydney CTC shooter, Con Himonitis, who battled it out today in rain to win the Marconi CTC "Leni Crema" Memorial shoot. Well done, and congratulations to you Con, on having your name engraved on the plaque.

21.01.2022 Some great events on this week at Sydney CTC. We are open on Wednesday the 29th of July between 12-3:30pm for Practice DTL/Skeet.... On Friday the 31st We have the "NSW State Night 60T SB" Practice DTL/Skeet will be also available On Sunday the 2nd of August we have our "Club CHAMPIONSHIP Event" . We will be hosting the following: * 25Pr DR and a chance for your name on the "Honor Board" * Also we we have 50T DB So come down and bust some clays!!!! Remember, the COVID protocols, we still need to apply social distancing measures inside the club house and especially around the grounds.

20.01.2022 Today Sydney CTC members supported the The Forest Clay Target Club Christmas Shoot where 18 squads shot 75T Continental. At the end of the day 5 shooters entered the shoot off for overall, but only one would prevail - our very own Club Captain Ronny "never retreat never surrender" Boumoussa was up to the challenge (again) - congrats (again). And a huge call out to Vince Gatt and his committee for a great day, and setting good targets all year. ... (Now if we could only get a good photo of Ronny - but the one below will have to do for now)

20.01.2022 Great Shoot today at Sydney Clay target Club as 9 squads battled it out today For our annual 3 discipline Member championship. Some great shooting by all today , shooting 25 skeet , 25DB DTL , 25 Trench. Congratulations to Ron Bou-moussa on winning the championship back to back second year in a row with the same score of 70/75 . The first event being the Club Championship Double rise taken out by our first time new committeeman Nick Poulos with a healthy 45/50. Well done Nick there are plenty more wins coming your way with all the hard work that you're putting in to your shooting And not to be overshadowed our good friend Rene Bou-moussa won the 50t DB event after a good shoot off and a score of 122/122. The scoreboard reflects both the great weather and targets.
