21.01.2022 Hooray! The Sydney NYE fireworks will go ahead this year!! People either love or hate NYE, and I am definitely in the first camp. I'm sure some people think they should cancel them this year, but I'm confident that the City of Sydney and NSW Government will do it safely. What do you think?

We recently moved to Mortdale, in Sydneys Georges River region and Im hoping to stay here for many years to comemainly so I dont have to go through the stress of moving again. A successful move can take weeks of organisation. Over the years Ive learnt what needs to be done before and after any move, whether is from down the roa...d or a different continent. Below is my Moving House Checklist to make your life a little easier. Please note, I can help you with everything listed here, plus anything else you need assistance with.

17.01.2022 Following on from yesterday's post...why not make a weekend (or school holidays mid-week trip) of it and combine Brick Awesome in Newcastle with Mega Creatures at the Hunter Valley Gardens. Due to current COVID conditions, tickets are strictly limited. Dont delay to avoid disappointment

16.01.2022 Today was a new one for me. The client request I completed today didn't even exist when I ran @sydney_concierge 2 years ago! Today I went shopping for a client in hotel quarantine: 6.5 hours, over 12,000 steps and one very happy client later! Who knew (until today) that there is a yoga mat shortage in Australia at the moment, but luckily I finally found some at my fourth shop. And yes, delivering the items was like delivering to Fort Knox. ... #hotelquarantine #2weeksin1room #personalshopper #12137steps #stepember #sorefeet #Nespresso #yogamatshortage #footlocker #Adidas #Nutribullet #groceryshopping #Myer #Davidjones #Dysonairwrapstyler #Frankgreen #Woolworths JBHifi

16.01.2022 Delicious lunch at #stkai today. Their mushroom roll is to die for, but I decided to order something different today and the Thick Cut Bacon with Poached Eggs and Bernaise sauce didn't disappoint. #mortdale #eatlocal

16.01.2022 Hooray! At this stage (fingers crossed), Scultpure by the Sea will not be a Covid19 casualty. It's on from 22nd October until 8th November. Try to go midweek or early evening to avoid the crowds.

16.01.2022 Happy Father's Day to all the great Dads out there, especially Chris Willsher! Max is so lucky to have you as his role model

16.01.2022 AND WE'RE BACK! After having my son almost 2 and a half years ago, I made the difficult decision to put Sydney Concierge on hold. Now he's a bit older, I'm excited to let you all know that I'm relaunching the business! To celebrate, I am offering 20% off all of our services until 30th September if you tag Sydney Concierge - Your Key to the City on Facebook or Instagram. After you've done this, simply contact me for the discount code.... Check out more details here: sydneyconcierge.com.au

16.01.2022 It wouldn't be Summer in Sydney without the World's most beautiful cinema! And with Covid restrictions in place, Westpac Open Air Cinema will be returning to The Royal Botanic Garden from 15/12-24/2/21. Watch this space and find out more here: https://www.westpacopenair.com.au Make sure you subscribe for updates, so you don't miss out. 40,000 tickets sold within the first 2 days of pre-sale in 2018, and this year will undoubtedly sell out even quicker, due to limited numbers.

16.01.2022 Having shared the best toasties a few days ago, I thought it only fair to share Sydney's best (new) bakery @banksiasydney They don't have many savoury options, though the Croque Monsieur Crossiant is to die for and the perfect combination of two French classics. And let's be honest, we really go for the cakes. I've already decided which one to get next time! ... Life's too short. Eat dessert first. #specialoccasions #bestbakery

15.01.2022 Took a few photos for my blog post 'Top 10 things to see and do in Oatley & Mortdale' today. Who knows where I went? #Oatley #Mortdale #top10 #sydneyblog

15.01.2022 Interstate and international travel is off the cards for awhile, but luckily there are plenty of amazing options in New South Wales. Here is one on the South Coast:

15.01.2022 Summer in Sydney and open-air cinema normally go together like fish and chips or gin and tonic. It looks like this summer will be a little different. 15.01.2022 If you're missing live music, why not try something a little different. As with all events these days and restricted numbers, make sure you book soon to avoid missing out.

08.01.2022 For the first time in its half a century history, City 2 Surf was not able to run in August this year. The good news is that this year they are doing a 'virtual run' on 18th October instead, which means you can run 14km anywhere, with anyone, anyway you like (except on a treadmill). And as long as you have the C2S VR App, you will receive the special 50-year medal!

07.01.2022 We all know that Australia’s international border is closed, unless you get an exemption, are willing to risk your ticket being bumped and pay for 2 weeks quarantine when you get home. 03.01.2022 The last 6 months have not been a good time for the hospitality industry. Many businesses have closed and many people have lost their jobs, either temporarily or permanently. Some restaurants have used this forced break productively. 360 Bar & Dining at Sydney Tower will relaunch as Infinity at Sydney Tower on 24th September. The revolving views will be stunning as always, but the food and service promise to excel, with Head Chef Mike Dierlinger from Bridge Room, at the helm.
