16.01.2022 Proud to be associated with the recent launch of The Eye Donor App, an initiative of Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation, University of Wollongong, NSW Health and DonateLife. Each year the lives of thousands of Australians are transformed through the transplantation of the cornea from donated eyes. With demand increasing, we’re proud to support Amy Chumkasian, registered nurse at Sydney Eye Hospital and PhD candidate in launching the Eye Donor app, now available from Apple and Goo...gle Play stores, free of charge. Interestingly, even people who wear glasses, have had past surgery, or suffer from some eye diseases can still donate. Please download the app and see if you can become an eye donor. 03.01.2022 We were thrilled to attend the official opening of Ralph Kerle Art Gallery, proudly supporting Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation. Thank you Ralph for selecting us as your charity, with proceeds of sales supporting Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation. Ralph creates photographic art by capturing real abstract images that exist in nature, focusing on water surfaces to create an abstract form of ocean and nature art photography. His connection with Sydney Eye, however, is personal. I ca...n't tell you how much the doctors at the Sydney Eye Hospital have been there for me when I have needed their help! In the 1980s, they gave me back my sight. Regularly viewers of my work tell me I have a good eye. The reality is I have very, very bad eyesight. I have a serious eye condition known as keratoconus, says Ralph.
