21.01.2022 Every now and then the coach will have the opportunity to play a tournament with student and share the on court experiences. In this case, congratulations to Sarah and Hakki finishing 1st in the mixed doubles event at the Inverell AMT.

21.01.2022 We take the fundamentals quite seriously here at the academy. Understanding what they are and how to teach them to each individual. Quite often coaches get caught up in teaching what they like or prefer, choosing style preferences over the fundamentals. At the academy we place our energy in knowing the make up of every individual physically, mentally and emotionally and teach that person accordingly. One size does not fit all. Note for the long term: Great fundamentals ofte...n go by unnoticed in junior development, however poor fundamentals always show you up in the later years. Put your energy into developing the fundamentals. Great work by Carolina in this video in such a short period of time. P.S. There is more then just adjusting foot placement in this video comparison.

15.01.2022 A super few days of growth and development for these tennis players travelling with coach to the Coffs Harbour AMT / JT. Congratulations to Stella in reaching her first ever 12u JT girls singles final and partnering with Sofia to win the 12u girls doubles title. Both girls also had an amazing achievement in reaching the open age B grade women’s singles final defeating older opponents to earn their places in the final. Mention also to Sofia placing 3rd in the 12u singles, Juli...a in reaching another AMT open women’s singles semi final, Sarah for reaching the AMT open women’s singles quarterfinals, both girls partnering to reach the AMT open women’s doubles semi final and Owen putting in another solid performance almost defeating the number 3 seed in the 14u boys singles. #tennis #sydneyinternational #sydneyinternationaltennis #tennisacademy #juniordevelopment #highperformancecoaching #growthanddevelopment

08.01.2022 A massive week of development at the NSW state junior championships. Congratulations to Sarah, showing great character and resilience to come from a set and 3-0 down to win the final of the 14u girls singles in 3 very tough sets. The win automatically qualifies her for the December showdown Nationals in Melbourne.

05.01.2022 Congratulations to Sofia who has now progressed from our Origin program into our Access program in winning the 12u girls doubles with her partner at the Wollongong JT. Backing up with solid performances in the singles event by finishing 3rd. Mention also to Stella from our Access program who was beaten by Sofia in the quarter finals in an epic 3 set match. Great progress by our junior girls.

05.01.2022 Welcome to Kirra who joined us over the weekend to receive some tournament education and support at the Wollongong JT. Partnering with Julia from our Excel program to win the 18u girls doubles event. Look forward providing more tennis education and support over the next few weeks as the girls compete in tournaments throughout NSW and Victoria.
