08.01.2022 Dear Participants, Friends & Followers While our team has worked tremendously hard on restarting our tournament, we are also blessed by Australia’s efforts to c...urb the spread of Covid 19. Unfortunately as this tournament represents the local Bangladesh community, the same cannot be said of the story back home. The threat and impact of Covid 19 in Bangladesh still runs severe with all levels people from various socio economic statuses being impact both in terms of their health and also in terms of their ability to fund a daily cost of living. Sadly the virus has impacted the lives of near and dear family members of our participants as well. While we step up efforts to resume play from July 5 onwards locally, we know and realise that there is no greater feeling than giving back. Together we can bring back smiles to the faces of those in need & every contribution will count towards freeing our motherland Bangladesh of Covid19. The SCA Committee is pleased to announce in Partnership with the #Shakib_Al_Hasan_Foundation for every run scored and every wicket taken during Shadhinota Cup Australia 2020 a monetary sum will be donated to the foundation to help support the underprivileged and those in need back home. We would like to welcome donations from our cricketing family in Sydney to assist us to build a sizeable fund base to support the SAH Foundation in their efforts.
