24.01.2022 Great news Marang Parklands Hockey Fields will be open for training this Saturday While this is very welcome, there are strict protocols for attending training. You need to advise and have confirmation from your club beforehand that you are able to train. Please do not breach the protocols no matter what you think is the right approach. The Association has worked closely with Hockey NSW to develop a return to training plan. Any breaches will result in you risking your continued attendance as well as jeopardising training in future weeks for everyone else.

23.01.2022 This weekend would have seen our Open Mens and Womens State Championships taking place at Moorebank and Narellan. The June long-weekend is always a great cele...bration of hockey and its shame we cant be out on the field this year. So instead, were reminiscing over the past few years in our Steggles State Champs Flashbacks! This time its our winners from 2018. Metropolitan South West Hockey Association - MSW and North West Sydney Hockey Association both took home the Division 1 titles, Tamworth Hockey Association and Nepean Hockey Association were victorious in Division 2, while Grafton Hockey Association Inc - Home of the Bascule Function Centre and Sydney South Hockey Association took home the winners medals in Division 3. What a fantastic weekend it was all round!

23.01.2022 The Tomahawk Academy starts in term 4, each Sunday from 3pm, at Marang Parklands Hockey Fields. No cost and you can just turn up on the day. Hows that for a great opportunity!

23.01.2022 Last call for entries to the Open Mixed 6-a-side social competition at Marang Parklands Hockey Fields. The competition will run for 5 weeks from next Wednesday with games starting at 7pm. All welcome so encourage your friends and family to "come and try". Rules have been modified to foster a fun and safe experience. 22.01.2022 The first night of the Marang Parklands Hockey Fields 6 a side summer mixed comp was great fun. An excellent way of cranking up your fitness or learning the game. Come along Wednesday at 7 pm if you want to be part of the crew. Well find you a team!

17.01.2022 Chelsea Holmes, Miri Maroney, Lili Maroney, Hannah Russell, Grace Young Angus Callinan, Blake Hernandez, Kian Johnson ....have all been selected in Hockey NSWs under 18 teams to play national championships in Launceston during April . Amazing effort by each and all.... The girls are in the State team while the boys are in the Blues.

16.01.2022 After consultation with our stakeholders and undertaking a significant risk assessment, we have had to make the disappointing decision to cancel our 2020 Indoor State Championships. Hockey NSWs main priority is the health and safety of our participants and at this point in time, we cannot confidently run the Championships in safe and enjoyable way.

COD is our highly successful program for U13 and U15 players of all abilities, providing them... with 21 hours of high-level coaching in their home region. As 2020 is a year like no other, our program will be adapted to coincide with all NSW Health directives and have measures in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19. 15.01.2022 In accordance with advice from Hockey NSW, in conjunction with Hockey Australia, the NSW Office of Sport, other government agencies as well comparable State Sporting Organisations the start of the 2020 Sydney South Hockey Competitions will be delayed until 1 May 2020. Sydney South also recommends, in accordance with HNSW guidance, that all training cease immediately as well.

13.01.2022 The Sydney East Hockey Association Premier League Womens competition is the pre-eminent competition for women in this part of Sydney. Sydney South Hockey clubs field teams in the competition and so we are very proud that 3 of our teams have made the top 4!! Cronulla RSL Hockey take onTartans Hockey Club in the 3v4 game while the comboSharks Hockey Club/Bosco Hockey Club team take on Esquires in the GF. All the best to all teams for this Saturday, playing at Sutherland Hoc...key Club. The teams feature plenty of players who play together in Stingray representative teams so good to see our young (and sometimes not so young) talent playing for their clubs. The Leader

11.01.2022 Marang Parklands Hockey Fields will be open for training again this Saturday. Covid protocols will be in place again so please confirm your attendance with your club. In other news, the NSW Government has announced that community sport can resume from 1 July. Hockey NSW has previously advised hockey will return July 18 and Sydney South is working to commencing competition that weekend. This is in line with other competitions around Sydney. Not too far away now before you can get back on the field :)

In summary, wash your hands, tap your sticks rather than shaking hands, dont share stuff and stay at home if you have flu like symptoms.
