Once again, two of the finest and deadliest players on the planet Justin Cornell and Kyle Spicka will be guesting with us for the 2020 Super 7s Paintball Series. Both of these players have contributed to our pass success for many 1st places and Australian Super 7s series championship wins 2013 and 2016. Kyle was playing with us when he was with the powerhouse team - Dynasty. JC recently dropped in for the last round of the 2019 Masters. Whats different this time around is both guys are playing together on one of the most successful World Championship teams. 04.01.2022 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 2020 SUPER 7S DLX TECHNOLOGIES CUP CANCELLED Due to the recent Australian Government 2 week quarantine ruling of all people coming into A...ustralia because of the COVID-19 world wide outbreak, plus all the other uncertainty with new government rules and regulations in relation to sporting events and outdoor public activities we have made the hard decision to cancel the Super 7s DLX Technologies Cup to be held at Action Paintball Games in Sydney in May this year.. It would also be profoundly unfair to all of our international competitors, in particular the three New Zealand teams, The Expendables, Rebel Unit and the Immortal Knights who would lose any chance of a series win if they miss the one single round of the Series due to it being basically impossible to compete in this event under the current immigration laws. Now before local teams get upset over this decision to cancel the event over our wonderful international teams and ballers, there is still a good chance the Government may reduce the number of people who can attend a venue like a paintball park in the near future with suggestions of a maximum of 50 to 100 people. Plus the likelihood of existing flights being cancelled inside of Australia as well as any other new possible restrictions would also mean we would have to cancel the event anyway for everyone! Such is the total uncertainty of everything now in regards to future COVID-19 rules. We have not yet decided if we will be able to reschedule this event to between round 3, the Planet Eclipse Open and round 4, the Paintballshop.com Australian Masters, which would be our ideal situation. But to be honest, we do not know if our other events will go ahead either at this stage, pending any new government mandated decisions on sporting activities and how many people can attend such events. If things settle down and it is possible we will try to reschedule, but it would require many things to work out right including very Cheap flight deals, plenty of notice for the teams, and of course, no more restrictions on travel and of course, hopefully some sort of awesome anti COVID-19 wins by government and the pharmaceutical industry We do not want people to book tickets and hotels etc and then have the event cancel at the last minute and people be out of pocket, so this is why we have taken the unprecedented decision to cancel the next Super 7s event. We would like to thank our faithful teams, wonderful sponsors, awesome Action Pro referees and of course our fantastic fans for their continued support during this most difficult time. 03.01.2022 Action Paintball has been offering contactless delivery for more than 21 years... and with our mandatory 3 metre surrender rule we also have been enforcing the ...social distancing for just as long. Plus everyone is wearing a full face mask. So we are definitely one of the safest things you can do as far as a sporting activity goes. So it makes us wonder why paintball is not approved to be played on massive acreage properties outside in NSW, but you can Lawn Bowl with 9 other friends (yes really) Sit in a restaurant with 9 other friends Sit in a pub with 9 other friends Sit in a bar with 9 other friends Swim in a public pool with 9 other friends Socialise with 9 other friends in a public park go shoot at an indoor gun range with 9 other friends You can even have 5 friends over to your house... and so on. Even schools are back open... thousands of kids all mingling together 5 days a week. We are thinking that the NSW Government is not being very consistent about their public safety. Who are they What do you think?
