25.01.2022 I really enjoy being part of cultural weddings and today in front of 450 guests Warren and Jacintha were married - the traditions and ritual are just beautiful! Amidst a sea of sari's bright and colourful I conducted the legal marriage ceremony which was held at The Epping Club. Congratulations to them both!!

24.01.2022 During what has been a difficult week for everyone, I look back to Anita and Brendan's Ceremony that was held on the 23rd March 2019 at BiCentennial Park. Not long before this day I conducted their legal ceremony at the hospital where Brendan's mum was very sick in front of a small group of family - I watched this couple struggling to grasp their reality at that moment and the eventual loss of a loved one so close to their planned Wedding day. Their reaffirmation ceremony was full of happiness and love - exactly what Brendan's mum would've wanted for them. Congratulations on your one year wedding anniversary - I look to you both in awe of your strength during that time and it was an absolute honour to be by your side during those moments. Love you both xx

22.01.2022 Today I assisted Max And Jocelyn with their Marriage Ceremony witnessed by 2 family members and live streamed to family overseas. It's been over 6 weeks since I've put on my "Celebrant hat" and I've got to admit I was really happy to be part of the warm and fuzzy feelings preparing and attending a marriage ceremony again! Moira Rose stepped in at the last minute to officiate at her son's Marriage Ceremony - the over-the-top character's chosen outfit just topped it off for me - imagine having this sitting in the back of your wardrobe!! Love you Moira! Rest assured that I'll never try and steal the limelight on your special day wearing anything remotely similar!

13.01.2022 On a rather rainy Friday (but no one complained) Rod and Malinda were married at Twin Creeks Country Club, Luddenham. Our bride was running super late at the hairdressers and jumped into her gown in record time to walk down the aisle looking gorgeous! With their two children by their side they exchanged Vows in front of their close family and frieds. A pleasure working with this couple!

12.01.2022 OK so this is getting serious...with a Bride phoning this morning already needing to postpone her wedding date, let me assure all my couples that I will accommodate with date changes as best I can. It's disappointing, it's upsetting and that's not the half of it - but you need to keep yourself, your guests and anyone else around you safe and healthy. I'm here for you and for your big day whether it be in the next few months or in a while.

11.01.2022 Happy New Year! ....I say this with a heavy heart as we watch Australia suffer through these catastophic bushfires - claiming people, livestock, native animals (it brings tears to my eyes), homes and our beautiful unique bushland. Having said this we must also get on with our own lives and celebrate our own timeless moments with dignity and grace - always being respectful and mindful of those who have been left with nothing. I'm going to start the year with pledging further donations to the amazing and tireless RFB and the Koala Hospital at Port Macquarie from my Celebrant Fees for the next 2 months. 08.01.2022 As I wait for a couple to arrive for their Ceremony rehearsal (my first in 4 months) I wanted to share a really lovely photo from Ingrid who is marrying her man James in January - the night this photo was taken they worked on their Ceremony wording choices and began writing their Vows - what a beautiful setting to begin such an exciting journey towards their Ceremony.

05.01.2022 Lauriston House is a one-wedding venue making it the perfect option for upcoming weddings as the numbers on public gatherings slowly climb. Our couple on Saturday were keen to be married on their chosen date despite the restrictions and we did the best we could to make their ceremony as special as we could. Wet weather is never an issue as the venue has a number of ceremony spaces that can be used.

02.01.2022 Here are the Stats (NSW Reg of BDM) on how Covid-19 has affected Marriage Ceremonies - it's been a trying time for so many couples and making that hard decision to postpone or have a smaller ceremony. As of today the restrictions have slightly eased on dancing at a Wedding Reception; the maximum number of people who may attend a wedding or a gathering following a wedding service cannot be greater than 150 people subject to the 4 square metre rule. Up to 20 people in the official wedding party are permitted on the dance floor. There cannot be rotation of people on the dance floor beyond the official wedding party. People attending will be required to provide their name and contact details so that they can be used for contact tracing.
