Because we can't visit our family for the occasion, would there be any interest in having a hamper of Easter goodies like eggs and hot cross buns available for order and delivery? We are now taking orders for Valentine's day, for pick up or delivery all around the Sutherland Shire, down to Waterfall and Bundeena and over to Brighton-Le-Sands/Sans Souci, and out as far as Illawong and Lucas Heights. We have lovely flowers, roses and other seasonal flowers, natives and wildflowers, bouquets, boxes and voxes, vases, ceramics or tins too. We can do as simple as a single rose or flowe...r, up to as big and amazing as you want to go. If you are planning to propose to that special person and want rose petals to scatter, we can help you there too. And thank you to everyone else who came in and put their name in the draw too! We are celebrating our first birthday this month! We will be holding a draw for a bouquet or arrangement of flowers valued at $50, to be drawn on November 30th! ... All you need to do to have a ticket in the draw is to purchase something in-store, or via phone order, and put your name and phone number on a ticket in the draw!

Also have balloons both helium and on a stick, teddy bears and other plush toys, wines and chocolates for hampers to be delivered, or candles and other products in store. 16.01.2022 I made a pretty pink cake topper yesterday for a special birthday girl. I have photos before (pre-trailing babys breath), and on the cake courtesy of the lovely lady who ordered it. Apparently the birthday girl loved it too :)

12.01.2022 I decided I needed something unusual and eye catching (I hope!) for my window display! I found an interesting dried palm fruit branch at my parents last weekend, and picked it up, thinking I could make something truly unusual with it. I think I managed to do just that. Love making big and different things, and using the skills I dont always get to put to regular use. I will take a photo of the display in the window in the morning when the sun is not glaring on it.

09.01.2022 So, I am looking into an alternative to using oasis/floral foam in my shop. One that is more environmentally friendly and definitely biodegradable, and also healthier. Oasis/floral foam is a nasty product that contains known carcinogens and other really toxic chemicals. I knew it was bad, but didnt realise just HOW bad it was, and how much damage it can do. My question is, would you be willing to pay a couple of dollars more per arrangement (literally $1-2 more) for a safe product that can be thrown in the compost or even reused as mulch around your garden or indoor plants? I tested out sphagnum moss as a viable alternative to oasis last year at Tafe and found it works very well, and is far better for people and the environment in general. The photo is the arrangement I made in sphagnum moss. Would my lovely customers support the change over to this alternative? Please leave me a comment, let me know your opinions. 06.01.2022 Some recent arranements 1st is a big bouquet ordered on Direct2Florist, called cool breeze. 2nd was a funeral wreath, for a Scottish grandmother. Others are just pretty things made for the shop, and the big white one was a sympathy arrangement. Last one is tulips in a vox - vase x box.

05.01.2022 Just an update for our followers during the current pandemic situation. Yes, we are still open as usual, and taking orders for pick up and delivery too. Please let anyone near us know too, if they need flowers, we would love to hear from them! In regards to Deliveries: For the safety and health of both our recipients and our delivery drivers, we will be trying to make deliveries as contact-less as possible for the foreseeable future. Instead of knocking or ringing a doorbe...ll and handing the flowers directly to the person answering the door, our delivery person will instead knock or ring the bell, and leave the flowers on the ground or table at the front door and then step back to allow the recommended distance so the person being delivered to can collect their delivery safely. This is in the effort to help ensure everyone stays as healthy as possible right now. We hope everyone understands this change. And, because we love to share our work, here are some pictures of recent flowers sent out. Some are from our website, and will be named as the type of arrangement it is. 03.01.2022 As a follow on to my discussion regarding changing from oasis floral foam, to using sphagnum moss as an alternative, here is a little arrangement I have made in the moss, in a pretty glass cube vase. I will keep it and post updates regarding it, how well it lasts, looks and any comments from customers over the next few days or so. Some added bonuses, when you use the moss, it is decorative so no need to try to hide it like the foam. It can go straight into glass, ceramic or plastic containers, no need to line those. And it can go into cellophane in a cardboard box too so very versatile. If you have any comments or feedback on this little arrangement, please comment below, I would love to hear from you.
