05.01.2022 At our Central Online gathering last night, we looked at how this question connects liturgies to our experience of community. Liturgies remind us of truths that we can easily forget and connect us with each other, as we seek God together. Part of what it means to follow Jesus, is that it involves following Jesus with others.... Which is where the power of good liturgies can deepen our experience of community. How? Well, simple liturgies can help us become more intentional & deep in our relationships with each other, as we follow Jesus together. Have a think about what it could look like if we intentionally pressed-into deepening connection with each other, in this time of social distancing. One simple liturgy which might lead us into deeper connection with each other can be as easy as asking a good question. Maybe even a question like this one: What’s your sense about what Jesus has been saying to you lately? Why not try it out for yourself? Ask someone what their response might be, and share you response as well.
