25.01.2022 Lunch time Day 1. Excellent progress and focus from both group. Team 1 have been making up the Aircrete mix while team 2 have been cutting and mortoring the bricks in place

One of you will be able to attend an Aircrete Dome workshop for free in 2021 Thankyou for your kind words and feedback and thankyou to everyyone else who took the time to share there experience. Sorry about the belated announcement, got side tracked and the voting was so close.

21.01.2022 REC club Sunday: A great session after lunch where Peter and Kathy demonstrated how to build and setup an Eco toilet system. Everyone jumped in and got involved and they knocked out the first prototype with lots of laughs some people assumed the position

21.01.2022 The girls have been busy, another 4 rows completed since our last Dome workshop. Now the fabric cement mix has gone on as well providing that aditional strength. Not long before we have two completed domes

20.01.2022 REC Club Sunday: More hands make light work. Only an hour or two and so much achieved. Both of our raised garden beds are weeded and ready for planting. The boys got the hammers out and converted pallets to dragon fruit supports frames so the branches hang down and increase yield. Of coarse we always have a great lunch to reward ourselves, thanks to everyone who came along

16.01.2022 Where there was lantana we now have a great spot to grow some casuarians to attract the glossy black coackatoos as well as grow our food forest with some Davidson Plums, native limes and much more

14.01.2022 A great day attending the Red Soil Bio Dynamics coarse run by Kane. He tied together some key principles from Syntropic Agro Forestry and the natural energetic principle around natural cycles and working with the elements to bring vitality to the soil. Also learnt about creating swales and contours for planting and capturing water to preserve this resource instead of letting it go down the drain. Looking forward to putting some of these practices into action For once Pete and Kathy taking a back seat

13.01.2022 ACRYLIC RENDERING LOOKING GOOD: Its a very specific skill to get this finish right but it looks magic when done properly. We will be practicing this technique at the Airecrete Dome workshop on the 25/26th September next weekend Its our last workshop of the year and we had 2 late cancelations due to travel restrictions to if you are keen to attend shoot us a message asap.

08.01.2022 REC CLUB CHRISTMAS LUNCH end of year celebration - Come and join us, share a bite, have a drink and connect together as we reflect on the years thats been and have some fun. When - Sunday 6th December Bring a plate to share and your favorite bevvie. ... Lunch starting from 12 noon. We would love to see you and spend some time together. Its been great to see the REC club community grow and share conversation, ideas and dreams with likeminded people. Be part of building the vision for 2021. For those who like to be active your welcome to arrive from 10am and lend a hand. We will be working on finishing off the amenities building and getting started with our grey water system. This is a great green solution that will be invaluable to those that are considering there own sustainable setup. Please shoot us a quick message to let us know if you can make it.

06.01.2022 LAST MINUTE, 2 SPOTS LEFT FOR THIS WEEKEND AIRECRETE WORKSHOP. Due to a bereavment we had a late cancelation from our booked out workshop. This will be the last chance to learn this amazing new building technique until 2021 with no further workshops this year NORTHERN NSW, many folk in this area have wanted to attend our event but due to borders closures couldnt. 01.01.2022 SYNTROPIC LIFE R.E.C CLUB What a beautiful day we had today on the land and the weather was perfect. After coffee we started with a couple of hours connecting with nature. Today we where pruning our dragon fruit food forest. It was such a lovely interactive process allowing each person to meet others and talk as we worked our way along the rows. 2 hours went by in no time and as everyone bought a plate to share we had a feast of food for lunch. Miriam was the hit with her am...azing vegan dressing and massive olives. When it was identified she had made this amazing food the younger people gathered around her to learn about her approach. This epitomises our thoughts on community and the wisdom being passed down by our elders and shared in a loving supportive environment. We had a group forum after lunch to discuss the vision of REC club with the ethos being Regenerate, Educate and Connect. We also then shared things we like to learn and 2 pages later the list of amazing topics was still going. Finally we started to talk about the skills and knowledge each individual could share and it was so evident there is amazing talents and wisdom that can be spread via our after lunch skill sessions that could play and important role in supporting one another, our young families, our senior members and local community. We are in exciting changing times and though its only once a month the energy combined that we bring can send out powerful loving frequency that can help many who are being challenged and might not have community or a loving family around them, see you next month
