25.01.2022 Life is to short to be serious all the time, Yes I am loud, yes I am motivating, yes I am full of energy, that's me love it or not, I am full of energy and am passionate about what I do, bring on the awesome tunes and make it fun. Find what you love and enjoy it. Great work everyone and it was an awesome vibe today, well done for getting through the class. You all are rock stars.



24.01.2022 Day 6 Recovery - Both knee Arthroscopys Slow Progress but each day is getting better. Bandages off and incisions are healing really well. Can hardly see the scars, I'm almost walking like a normal person again but finding that standing for long periods of time is still quite painful. First day driving kids to school, quick grocery shop (with Amber) then home to rest and icepacks on to reduce the swelling. I'm going stir crazy sitting around so much and can't wait to get active again.

23.01.2022 Who loves abit of cable , I'm not talking about the TV kind lol, I honestly don't spend much time using the cable machines but one of my favourite exercises is the Cable Woodchop, great workout for the midsection. Today I'll be smashing a quick 30 min upper body workout before my shift starts. Be smart about your workouts, have a plan and get in and do it, there's no need to spend hours in the gym you just need to know what you are doing. I'll start my workout at 9.15am f...or 30 minutes, this is my plan. 15 Reps, 3 Sets of each exercise: Warm up - 5 min Treadmill 12.5kg DB Chest Press 15kg DB Bench Row 25kg Cable Woodchop 15kg Cable Tricep Pull down 15kg BB Bicep Curls Stretching at the end. I may adjust the weights slightly but that is the plan. Have an amazing day everyone.

23.01.2022 I maybe recovering from surgery and that's no excuse to get slack with meal prep, with not much mobility in the last 6 day's I've had to be careful with what I eat. I haven't been perfect but majority of the meals and snacks have been on point. This morning I honestly didn't feel hungry so only had a banana, 1 lge glass of water for breakfast then 2 of my homemade protein balls, 1 large glass of water for a snack, but in saying that I am focusing on drinking more water whi...ch is making me feel fuller and clearer. For lunch I have prepared a yummy healthy feast. 100gms Pork Chop 100gms Roasted Zucchini 100gms Roasted Sweet Potato 100gms Cooked Broccoli 1 large glass of water This should keep me fuller for longer.

22.01.2022 Nothing beats a yummy Sunday Roast Lamb

22.01.2022 Morning awesome people. It's mid week already, this month has gone so quick, it's meant to be spring but the weather is all over the place. Up bright and early for a 5.30am workout followed by a good stretch then in the spa for some relaxation. I'm loving that there is no school, kids are still sleeping and I'm enjoying the peace while I can. Looking forward to taking my kiddies out to go clothes shopping today to update there wardrobes for when the nice weather decides to arrive lol. 21.01.2022 Some Weeks are better than others, aint that the truth. Even though I still managed to get in 6 sessions in this week it's been bloody tough. Infact it's been a huge mind game, I have seriously had to push hard this week to over power the mind and just get the sessions done. Sick kid, crazy weather that can't make up it's mind, allergies, breathing issues, knee pain, back pain, seriously going to ride this week of and start fresh next week. Let's hope for better weather next week.

21.01.2022 Happy Thursday everyone (wishing it was Friday lol) This week has been a tough week for many of us including myself, with the cold weather kicking in, alot of us have been struggling to stay motivated, we have kept going but struggled to put in 100%, Over the past month many of us have been training so hard, PT sessions, sports, class's etc that many of us are feeling tired and sore, I am telling you it's ok to rest, take a day or 2 off to relax, get a massage, stretch, stretch, stretch, we need to listen to our bodies and do what is necessary. Having a day or two's to rest is going to help your body heal, refuel your body with nice healthy delicious foods that give you energy. You only get given one body so love it, cherish it, take care of it. You will feel so much better if you look after yourself properly.

21.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone, absolutely loving this motivating weather. I love Friday's, one of my favourite but challenging classes, yippee I woke up feeling really sore this morning as I have really upped my training this week, spent about 15 min stretching to loosen my muscles before the class started, honestly it's bloody harder the older you get but I just keep on pushing through.... 15 min stretching 45 min HITT Step class 25 min Cross Trainer 10 min treadmill walk 20 min stretch I got home was absolutely starving so cooked up a burger, so delicious, lettuce, 2 eggs, tomatoes, cheese, burger, yummo. An awesome way to start the day, my legs are tired but hopefully some more stretching and a nice relaxing spa will help. Have an amazing day everyone.

20.01.2022 Yummo, I was super excited about dinner tonight, crazy I know but when your eating healthy and not snacking on crap you get excited at meal time. I feel full and satisfied.

19.01.2022 Crazy 1 Hour Tabata Circuit Workout this morning, left us all feeling very fatigued. Great Effort everyone.



19.01.2022 I know most people aren't liking being in lockdown but I have really enjoyed it, Time with my family is well spent, time to chill, relax and just unwind. We are always so busy and in a hurry to do things that it's hard to stop and take time out for ourselves, restrictions are being lifted earlier which is great news for SA but I'm quite happy chilling at home a little longer lol.

18.01.2022 Totally awesome vibe tonight, meant to be a 45 min class but pushed it out to 1.5 hours, everyone did so well. Great work and lot's of fun.

18.01.2022 Happy Monday Everyone. What a beautiful morning to be out, up at 6am to get a workout done. Decided to venture along the new Link road by our house. A nice walk/ run turned into almost 7km. Now to stretch, have a nice hot shower, get the kids ready for school then of to work.

16.01.2022 Up bright and early for another walk, just a walk today but went quicker as I teamed up with a friend who walks faster than me lol. Turns out it's 7km so my fit bit is wrong. Even better when you've walked further than you thought. It's going to be a hot one so glad my workout is out the way.

15.01.2022 Happy Monday Everyone Up at 5.30am this morning, managed to complete the link road and back again, had the wind against me on the way home so that was a little more challenging, so glad it's done now.

13.01.2022 Great start to the week, 2 hour training session, 1000 calories burned. Now time to enjoy day 1 of the school holidays with my kiddies.

13.01.2022 Definitely a day for swimming today, it was a little cold to start with but after a few laps it got nice and warm. A good 45 minutes of swimming and aqua movements to help with my back and knees, followed by a spa of course.

13.01.2022 All ready to go, knowing that all the meals are prepped for the next few days for myself and my family makes me happy and my kitchen may stay clean for a few days lol, who am I kidding it's school holidays. Healthy family, healthy lifestyle.

13.01.2022 Yummo shepherd's pie is on the menu tonight and of course there will be left overs for tomorrow lol, I love sweet potato but the rest of the family don't so I had to make two but as long as they eat it that's ok.

So much negativity in the world today and I think alot of people lose sight of what they have already, we need to change the way our minds think so today I want you to have a think about what your greatful for? Make a list and share it with us. Let's focus on the positives and trust me your day will be so much better. My list could go on forever but here's a few things that I am greatful for:... - I'm greatful to have a beautiful husband for almost 18 years that has supported me through all my crazy decisions - I'm greatful for my 4 beautiful healthy children that give me a reason to get up everyday. - I'm greatful to have a job with flexibility to allow me to work around my family. - I'm greatful for all my true amazing, trusting, reliable friends, you know who you are. - I'm greatful to still have my amazing parents, sibling's and thier families in my life to share our lives with. - I'm greatful for my beautiful home that my family and I have built together. 11.01.2022 Oh leg press, how I've missed you. Leg Press- drop sets 20, 20, 15, 20 ... Only started with 120kg as my right knee is being a bitch lately lol.

11.01.2022 30 Minutes a day is all it takes. I managed to squeeze in a 30 min Cross Trainer session, my favourite machine. Eat Healthy and stay focused on those goals whatever they maybe.

11.01.2022 Food choice for the day while I'm at work most of the day. What have you packed today?

11.01.2022 3 Weeks and 4kgs Down. 16kgs to go, Along way to go but doing it 100% right. Purely focusing on nutrition, barely any exercise, mainly aqua aerobic or walking so far, I'm having surgery on both knee's on Thursday so just focusing on nutrition so while I recover I can still track my food using the app Noom which I am truly liking. Once I have recovered from the surgery I will start to focus on my training again.

08.01.2022 Preparation is KEY to achieving results. Tomorrow I have my surgery (Arthroscopy on both left and right knees), so today is all about Food Preparation for my recovery. Got up early did a HUGE grocery shop ready to do a cook up this afternoon. I'm in the process of food preparation now, already have the dishwasher going lol. Breakfast for the few days is ready to go, I'll miss breakfast tomorrow morning as I have to fast before surgery, I know ill probably be starving when ...I get home tomorrow so at least my food is ready and no excuse to eat the wrong choice of food. I've got plenty of protein balls, fruit, veggies etc to see me through. I'm cooking corn beef, chicken breast, steak and lot's of veggies so my dinners are all done as well for the next few days. Considering I'm not a cook and not a fan of cooking I have been enjoying my food preparation and feeling so much more motivated. Doing it the right way, no diets, no shakes, Real Wholesome Fresh Food.

08.01.2022 Happy Monday All I'm really enjoying having the flexibility of preparing healthy nutritious meals, my mind feels so much clearer and I'm really loving all the colours. I'm a pretty plain fussy eater but adding ingredients that I don't normally eat like mushrooms, tomatoes etc into a mix is actually very tasty. I made a lasagne yesterday and added zucchini, mushrooms etc and it was so yummy, it was hilarious when I told the kids after they ate it lol. ... I would love to see what you all have for breakfast and snacks. Please share. Have an amazing day.

07.01.2022 A nice 5km walk along Semaphore Beach with my beautiful family, just what the body needed. Feeling refreshed and happy. Absolutely love being outdoors.

07.01.2022 Just had a beautiful lunch with one of my amazing friends, I absolutely love catching up with my friends, it's so good for your mind and soul. I'm surrounded with so many amazing friends. Making the right food selection was key today too. A really yummy warm chicken salad, so delicious and healthy.

06.01.2022 What a beautiful day for the 1st October. Epic Training sessions today, so motivated and full of energy. This morning:... 20 min interval training on the treadmill 1 hour HITT Circuit session 15 minutes on the Cross Trainer Burning 1000 calories. Tonight 7km walk / run around the neighbourhood. I'm not going to lie, I'm in alot of pain, my legs are absolutely exhausted, it's not easy but it's worth it. Even though my body hates me right now I feel amazing and am slowly getting fitter. Patience and persistance is the key, its not easy but you need to get out of your comfort zone in order to get results. I could of easily sat on the couch and done nothing but knowing the suns out I was going to make the most of it. If anyone is looking for me I'll be spending some quality time in my spa lol

04.01.2022 Happy Monday Everyone. I hope you all had an amazing weekend. We were all pretty fortunate to have nice weather. Who's ready for another week? Have you planned your workouts? What about Food, preparation is key to success, if it's ready and easy to grab, you are more inclined to stick to a healthy nutrition plan if its prepped and trust me you will have so much more energy. 03.01.2022 A simple breakfast to start the day. Bring it on, split shift ahead today so making sure I pack some good healthy nutritious food.

02.01.2022 Day 3 After Surgery All is going well since having an Arthroscopy on both knees, it hasn't been easy but today I feel like I can almost walk normally. Standing up for long periods of times is still a struggle but each day is getting easier. I'm very greatful for having an amazing supportive family to help me when I need it. Most of all I am sticking to healthy meals throughout the day, no I haven't been perfect, I have had some chocolate especially when watching Netflix mo...vies with my family and that's ok. I haven't had to take any medication since the op and have been doing my daily physio exercises and majority of my meals are healthy. I am feeling pretty good so far. I can't wait to be fully active again but am taking the time to heal properly.

02.01.2022 Exercise is the best medicine, This morning my alarm went of at 4.30am, I woke up in a world of pain, my osteoarthritis in my back and sciatica were so painful, my mindset was not in the best place and I was questioning myself how am I going to teach me HIIT Step class this morning. I rolled out of bed, stretched went to the gym early, did a slow 2km walk on the treadmill and stretched again, by the time my class started my muscles were more relaxed and stretched and I man...aged to still get through my class. I guess what I am saying is mind over body, look after yourself, spend more time stretching and never let your mind takeover, stay positive and focused on those goals, it may take you longer but it's worth it. If you have injuries etc there are ways around it, don't give up, stay strong and you will succeed. I'm so glad I didn't give up on my body this morning and I now feel super amazing ready to concor what this day brings. Have an amazing day everyone.
