16.01.2022 PUBLIC NOTICE There was a post shared on Facebook recently stating that "a Wirraka Maya doctor was tested for coronavirus and that's why it was shut down las...t week". Please be advised that this is FALSE INFORMATION and must be ignored! We request it be taken down to avoid confusion or interruption to our essential service to the community. Please note : 1. Wirraka Maya clinic is still open (Monday Friday as per our normal opening hours) 2. Wirraka Maya is still providing services to our community. We have made some slight changes to the way we deliver our services to comply with COVID-19 requirements. For example: social distancing, sanitising hands, wearing masks, pre-booked appointments only etc. 3. None of our doctors have been tested positive for Coronavirus COVID-19 4. Wirraka Maya has a couple of staff self-isolating due to recent travel and to protect our staff and others. They do not have symptoms of COVID-19 5. Remember to phone before you come to Wirraka Maya, and we can answer your questions about our service too We encourage our community to still access our services if and when needed.
