24.01.2022 What a moment! Thank you to all 108 of you TCI Trainers that made the time in this chaotic pandemic to meet with like minded professionals for our first Zoom Community of Practice video link. Discussions were rich, important and understanding in these difficult times! It is a biased opinion however we truly have some amazing people supporting others during this time!... Following the overwhelmingly positive feedback, we will schedule fortnightly 1 hour community of practice meetings to facilitate trainers connecting, brainstorming and resource sharing! Please keep your eye out via the facebook page for our next registration link. We hope you enjoy a safe and happy Easter break with loved ones and look forward to connecting again soon! the team at TACT
22.01.2022 Hi TCI Trainers, All of us at the Residential Child Care Project are hoping that you are well and managing in these ever changing times. We know that there are ...many stressors right now in your work supporting staff, children and families. Many of you have reached out to us as you do your best to meet the training needs of your organizations. We hope that we have been able to provide support. We realize that TCI trainers around the world are a great resource and that we can provide a platform to bring you all together (in a socially distant kind of way!) to share resources and provide support to each other. We are inviting you to a TCI virtual Community of Practice (CoP) next Thursday April 2nd at 3pm EST to join together and share ideas about how to provide staff with the necessary TCI crisis prevention and management skills they need, now more than ever. Questions for discussion during this CoP include: How are you doing? What are you learning through this crisis? How are you adapting? What can the RCCP do to help? Tapping into the collective ideas of our training community will certainly enhance what each of us can do individually and organizationally. We will use Zoom as our platform to video conference. Here you can find the link to register for the CoP: You are invited to a Zoom meeting. When: Apr 2, 2020 03:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) Register in advance for this meeting: https://cornell.zoom.us//uZQsc-6qpjIpM3Di3SA2tyL98nx_5Oas-A After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Please share this invitation with others that you think might like to connect with the TCI trainer community. Take care, Andrea and the TCI Team
