21.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone . Dont forget to give yourselves some me time. Take breaks from the news. Even though its important to stay informed, its also critical to take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media. Hearing about the pandemic constantly can be upsetting. Set an intentional time limit to watch the news and then turn it off. Dont leave it on all day in the background.... A few minutes can be enough to de-stress you. Give yourself some me time .

21.01.2022 Having a health check provides important health information for you and your doctor. The 715 Health Check is designed to support the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients of all ages. This is a free health assessment and is bulk billed. The assessment does take 30 to 40 minutes as it is very detailed. If you havent received one in the last 12 months please give us a call on (02) 9249 9144 and just advise the receptionist... that it is for a ATSI Health Check, so we can allocate the time for your appointment. Staying on top of your health is important. It helps to identify potential illnesses or chronic diseases before they occur. It is much easier to look at ways to prevent these things from occurring, rather than treatment. ATSI Health Assessments are from newborns right up to 100+.

14.01.2022 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be willing to support those around us. Today is R U OK? day. Its our national day of action when we remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, Are you OK? if someone in your world is struggling with lifes ups and downs. If you feel like somethings not quite the same with someone you know theres somethin...g going on in their life or you notice a change in what theyre saying or doing - trust that gut instinct and take the time to ask them Are you OK? If someone says theyre not OK, make time to listen, encourage action and check in. That conversation could change, or even save, their life. For more information and guidelines, please visit R U OK Day #RUOKDay #theresmoretosay #RUOK
