22.01.2022 Good morning all, until further notice, the Club will not be opening on Mondays. We will use this day to give the Club an extra clean to ensure we maintain a safe environment for our members and visitors. The golf course is still open, green fees can be paid at the honesty box on the corner of the Club near the first tee.
22.01.2022 Well everybody the Christmas season is definitely in full swing, after the huge club christmas raffles and cash giveaway on Wednesday night, yesterday we got a visit from Santa and his helpers arriving on a different type of sleigh this year, with plenty of goodies for the kids. The always popular and humongous Talbingo Fishing Club raffles were held later, with over 40 great prizes being handed out. Big thanks to Doug and Frank for the running of the raffle, and Santa for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit us. The club will be closed Christmas day and will be opening from midday 26th until January 3rd. As we have seen a couple of small covid outbreaks in the last few weeks, please ensure you follow the covid rules. See you on the golf course!
21.01.2022 Ok everyone summer is definitely here, time for golf, a bit of tennis, a cold drink, a delicious meal and of course some Christmas festivities! We will be continuing our regular raffles and members draw on Wednesday and Friday nights through the silly season. Wednesday 16th December will see the Club Christmas raffles held, there will be heaps of great prizes to win. Tickets will be on sale from 630pm. Sunday 20th will see the big man in the red suit arrive bearing tasty treats for the kids, followed by the Talbingo Fishing Club raffle. This raffle is always a highlight for the great prizes and a chance to catch up with everyone in town before Xmas. The Club will be closed Christmas day, then will open at midday from 26th December to January 1st. Come and join us for a very merry Christmas!
19.01.2022 Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well and adjusting to the changes, talk about a dry argument! In the last week there have been many rules imposed, some followed by backflips worthy of any Olympic team! This included golf courses, but whatever the current rules are, we would like to advise that the Talbingo Golf course is CLOSED for play. Not only virus concerns, but also the course has suffered considerable damage after recent rains. With all the vegetation burnt in the area, there was nothing holding the soil in place, so we ended up with it, been a hell of a year! Plus side, maybe in the future we can build some waterfront properties on the dam at the 7th, got some extra land there now!
19.01.2022 Ok here is the price list for takeaway sales. We will be open from 5pm to 7pm for take away sales, remember social distancing will apply, come down this arvo and get yourself a box of fun!
18.01.2022 Gday everyone, been busy here in Talbingo with all the holiday makers, good crowds in the Club and plenty of people in town. Big thanks to all who came to the Club on the long weekend, everyone was mindful of the covid rules and made our covid Marshall job run very smoothly. Our restaurant will be closed from 12th to 19th October inclusive so our restaurant staff can take a well earned break. Weather is improving on the weekend, come up and lose some balls in the long grass!
17.01.2022 Sorry fishing club raffle is on Sunday the 20th
17.01.2022 Welcome to Spring! The weather has turned a bit milder, and the snow is melting at a rapid rate. Great weather for a round of golf or game of tennis followed by lunch at the club. Our restaurant is open from 12 to 2pm for lunch and 6pm for dinner. Please note the restaurant will be closed next weekend Friday 11th, reopening Tuesday 15th, so our restaurant staff can have a well earned break. The members draw stands at $1000, so come down to the Wednesday and Friday night raffles to try your luck. See you soon!
16.01.2022 Hello all, hope you are all ready to venture out of the house now that the restrictions are easing. Good news, the Club will be reopening on Friday afternoon, of course things will be different. Important points to note: Club will open 5pm Friday 5th June Maximum number allowed in the club bar area is 40 people. Entry and exit will be via the front door only. Maximum of 5 people in the gaming room.... Everyone must register upon entry, and sign in as a temporary member if required. For the time being, no children will be allowed in the bar area, and the playground and children's will be closed. There will be no raffles or use of the pool table for the moment. The restaurant will also be opening on Friday, there will be provision for restaurant customers to get drinks from the bar during their meal. More details to come in the next day or two. This is going to be different to what we are used to, so please come down for a drink or meal with a bit of patience, and we will be right. Any questions please leave a comment or send a message. Looking forward to seeing you! See more
15.01.2022 Ok all, almost ready to reopen at 5pm, last minute set up well underway. It going to be different, so here are the changes we will be working with. If we can keep these in mind, everything should go smoothly. Entry is through the front door only. Everyone will be registered when they arrive and leave. Maximum allowable number in the bar is 40 people. No children will be allowed in the bar this weekend. 5 gaming machines will be operating, with a maximum 5 people in the room a...t one time. Dining will be from 6pm in the restaurant (22 people max.) and in the auditorium (40 people max.) , with 12 people at a time able to pick up take away orders. Phone orders for take away are encouraged, 69495634. Please stick to the 1.5m spacing from people not in your group. Hand sanitizer is available all around the club and we encourage the use of it. A little bit of patience will go a long way, so come down and relax. Bring a coat, the walk home will be cold! Please remember also that there is no access to Mount Selwyn this year. The Link Road from Kiandra turnoff is locked closed, so there is no public access to Selwyn, Cabramurra or the Elliott Way. See you very soon for a cold one! See more
14.01.2022 G'day all, another update, we have decided that for the immediate future there will be no meals available from the Club while the impacts of the regulations from the virus take shape. We will keep our eye on any changes to the rules whether good ourbad and let you if it has any effect on us. Any changes we will let everyone know asap. It's been a crazy start to the year for sure, and we would like to say thanks to everyone who has supported us so much this year already, never a dull moment! If anyone has any questions please send a message and we will answer as soon as we can. Cheers!
13.01.2022 Hello and thanks to all the folk who came down last Thursday to grab some takeaway cartons of goodness. We still have some supplies left, including Carlton Dry, Tooheys Extra Dry, Great Northern and more, so we will be open again this Thursday 5pm to 7pm for carton sales at the front door. Things are changing on the restriction front, but even if restrictions are eased the Club and the restaurant will remain closed for at least another 4 weeks, we are taking this opportunity to make as many improvements as we can. We will definitely be ready for a beer at the end of it! If anyone has any questions please comment or send a PM. Cheers !

10.01.2022 Hello on this beautiful sunny winter day. Lunch is being served at the Club, and the golfers are out. A little bit wet in some spots around the course, but it's looking good. Thanks to all who have come down to the club over the last three weeks, the social distancing and limits are working well, thanks for your patience to help everything run smoothly. We have decided on the date for the AGM, Sunday July 19th. Doors will open at 10am, and the doors will be locked for the mee...ting at 11am sharp. The 2019 financial report will be available next week, so come down for a recap on last year and where we are up to so far this crazy year. In other news, effective immediately there will be no dogs permitted on the verandah or stairs, or to be tied to the kids playground fence. Your dog needs to be tied up away from patrons, preferably to your cart if you have one, or a tree. The Wednesday night raffles and members draw have resumed, we are working on a few changes for the Friday night draw, it will be back very soon. More changes to covid restrictions may be coming on July 1st, stay tuned for any changes. See more

09.01.2022 Check out the photos of the course, it's looking a treat thanks to our hard working volunteers who are out there mowing and manicuring almost every day of the week. If coming for a round, please be aware of a few wet patches around after the recent rain and avoid them in your cart where possible. Great news for the hungry masses, the restaurant will be back in full swing tomorrow night cooking up all our favourites. Come down for the raffles on Wednesday and Friday nights, and enjoy a cool drink or two while you're here.
09.01.2022 A great weekend on Blowering Dam for Team Warby, albeit a bit windy at times. A lot of good data captured from the runs with the team planning to return late summer. Great to have a drink with the team and James and Di from Talbingo Tourist Park at the club on Sunday night. The team really appreciate the local support from the people and the organisations that help make it happen, looking forward to the next time!

05.01.2022 Hello everyone, hope all are doing well! So it has been a while since we saw all your lovely faces, and are looking forward to seeing you again hopefully soon. While we have been closed we have taken the opportunity to make some improvements to our toilet areas, electrical system and give the joint a bit of a birthday. Will be fresh and ready to welcome you back! We have also decided to clear some of our stock, so if you would like to buy some drinks, we will be selling carto...ns of beer and cider for $50 to $60 per carton. The Club will be open for take away ONLY sales tomorrow Thursday from 5pm to 7pm and Saturday 3pm to 5pm. Sales will be via the front entrance and social distancing will be observered.
