25.01.2022 These paintings are by the renown aboriginal artist the late Walangkura Napanangka. They depict the sandhills and rock holes of her native country and the journeys and gatherings of the ancestral women of her community. She works with deep sandy orange, sombre blacks, red, dusty green and yellows tones, the flow of colour brings power to her paintings and life to the stories they tell.
