25.01.2022 No doubt its been a tough year, but hopefully you've still made some memories you'll look back on with a smile. Happy New Year!

24.01.2022 Our cute lawnmowers do like a slice of bread in the morning.

24.01.2022 Did you know that one boiled egg contains 40% of your daily Vitamin D requirements? It's just one of the reasons why eggs are a great choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner!! Find our where you can get your hands on some: http://www.tamareggs.com.au/buy-our-eggs/

21.01.2022 After a wet but productive hay season we were finally able to move our hens onto the next part of their paddock. This is a key part of how we manage our farm as we think it's better for them and better for the pasture. They are now happily scratching around in the shorter grass and seems very pleased to be out of the long grass.

21.01.2022 No rest for these girls. They work hard every day to produce the most delicious eggs. Get our eggs cooked your way at Moon Lily Kitchen and Cakes today.

20.01.2022 What a stunning morning in the Tamar Valley. Have a great day and enjoy the little things.

20.01.2022 Our new feed trailer has been completed and thoroughly tested. We can now lift a 330kg bag of feed from the ute or trailer and empty it. We can drive the new trailer to the chicken feeders and fill them up. No more 20kg bags or buckets to carry. Our backs are thankful.

19.01.2022 There's still a few hours left to order this and a range of other delicious items for collection at Hillwood or Midlands this week.

18.01.2022 Being a farmer is about more than just growing food; it's helping to create a more sustainable and resilient food system that's focused on community.

16.01.2022 There remains much uncertainty in the world, but one thing that's certain is you all are absolutely awesome! Thanks to everyone who bought our eggs today at Harvest Launceston, we had our best ever market. What an egg-cellant start to the year Thanks for being part of our community and valuing what we do - we can't do it without you.

09.01.2022 Hip hip hooray, it's #NationalAgDay! Why not celebrate by heading to your local Farmer's Market this weekend. You'll have the chance to buy some of the best and freshest produce around, direct from the farmers. If you're in Launceston, we'll be at Harvest Launceston tomorrow with eggs in all sizes and a cheep cheep special on Jumbo's! Hope to see you there.

08.01.2022 Pastured vs 'Free range' eggs: Instead of 10,000 birds per hectare, we have just 950. Our hens are regularly moved, not left in a static area that will eventually just be dirt Our hens are free to graze, scratch and dust bathe from sun up to sun down, 365 days a year.... #freerangeasitshouldbe Check your labels, know where your food comes from and buy direct so you can ask the farmer questions.

05.01.2022 Today is #worldeggday! We thought that was the perfect day to celebrate the humble scrambled egg, a simple but delicious way to eat eggs. Just wisk together the eggs with a pinch of salt then cook in melted butter over a low heat, stirring until just set. And that's it! Serve with toast, crispy bacon, sliced avocado or whatever else takes your fancy.

05.01.2022 Are you eating enough eggs? Restock at Harvest Market Launceston today.
