21.01.2022 Once not so long ago Friday night meant great live music at a local pub. #Lockdownlyfe has been more music in the kitchen while cooking with the ear pods in (so as not to annoy the tween!). Today’s black tee in celebration of #ausmusictshirtday was fabulous Aussie hip hop label Golden Era Records whose artists have definitely helped my days pass more quickly! ... Slung some $s over to Support Act in the hope of helping those in an industry utterly slammed by the pandemic to get back on those pub stages (and get us on the sticky floors) again soon!

10.01.2022 Via Tim Read MP Instead of being one of two places in the world to charge a special tax, we should be following the ACT when it comes to electric vehicles. Not only are they making them more affordable and easier to charge, by making the entire government fleet electric by 2021, they're creating a much needed second-hand market. Road user charges are a logical tax, but only if they apply to all vehicles.... Victoria would do well to follow the ACT's lead. Transport is the fastest growing source of greenhouse gas emissions and since private cars aren't likely to disappear, we need to get them onto renewable energy ASAP. And of course, the best electric vehicle is a bus. China has almost half a million and Victoria has one.
