25.01.2022 Busy weekend for the Guys .A luncheon on Saturday then aback to work on Sunday with our regular Peel St Markets Stall.Adding to Showcase our ability's and products we added another Skill and conducted our first Public Sausage Sizzle In hindsite longer was spent on obtaing the food handling accreditation and working through the fire bans than cooking sausages

25.01.2022 At last . Finally found a image of this Happened a while ago.Rob at work with Geoff (out of picture) on plumbing.Installing a drip feed line from our rainwater tank to the garden .Connecting the Pressure Pump plus a water trough for the wildlife in our surrounding area. In the other image Dave eventually managed to make the CNC router cut something out while onlookers stand in awe Unsung hero of this Project is Les who carried out all the assembly ,found the programs designed and built the pressurized dust proof cabinet along with the vacuum system

24.01.2022 Saturday had nice Surprise for us .Apart from being a nice day ,The BUPA TEAM donated us the ingredients for a Sausage Sizzle In pre Virus days ,Once a month a Group of Gents would and their Carers would join us for a Workday joining in in with our team of Toy Makers All low level work that they could accomplish and share the Chat and Banter .The virus put a halt to that. On our return to Shed activities, they were and still are in lock down. With the help of some tablets and... technology they were able to work on toy making at the Home and join in the sheds environment via the tablets. Thanks to the Toy Making Group and the Carers who ran around the shed floor Sticking tablets in members faces so they could talk and be seen by the BUPA People. This was Bupas way of saying thank you Thanks to Mark and Paul for looking after the Sizzle. The Shed is happy to add a little something to these Guys lives and that's we are All about . Plans are to have the BUPA hook up as a regular event and this idea can be expanded to encompass other Groups and Facilities See more

19.01.2022 Here is a poem whipped up by Paul's wife Mirja for Paul to read out at our AGM before he received an award Did it backfire on him ? THE SHED Joining the Tamworth Mens shed, seemed like a good idea to me,... The shed needed members, and I heard their urgent plea. Working in the shed, with wood chips everywhere, Glue splattered clothes, and dust in my hair. All ideas of romance, suddenly lost their spark, Id have to tell the wife, Id be here till after dark. With tables needing varnish, and chairs to be stained red, Theres also a load of wood, to stack into the shed. I throw a plank or two around, my tired body shaking, Sweat pouring from my face, my manhood all but breaking. Toughen up! someone yells, In answer to my pleading, For hot tea, a soft chair, and band-aids for my bleeding. If tomorrows like today, about me theyll be talking, Stiff and sore by the morn, I surely wont be walking. The shedders see the pain Im in, and all with big smiles beaming, They say we bet youre glad you joined, and I say, youre bloody dreaming.
