We’ve had some feedback from racers asking questions re what tyres work at the track and about making the event control tyre so what are people’s thoughts more Feedback would be appreciated . Least with control tyre it keeps racing costs down and the racing on a level basis .

21.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE Hi all, Just an update on how the club will go forward for 2020, As NSW Health have released updated guidelines in relation to sporting teams and related events. These guidelines require clubs to cease competitions as such, as a club we feel the best way forward at the moment will be to postpone the Campbelltown Hobbies off-road Mini series until early 2021. Our club days every 2nd and 4th weekends of the month will STILL run as normal ... 20.01.2022 To all Members Due to one to many gates being left open and the paddock being occupied by cattle that think they are also Rc Cars , we have had to change the combination lock from the double gates that access the cricket field area to now on the single side gate closest to the main road. Classes we run are: ON-ROAD:... 1/10th Mini Trucks 1/10th 21.5 Touring Car 1/10th 13.5 Touring Car As per RCRA rules & regulations OFF-ROAD: 1/10th Novice 1/8th Novice 1/10th 2wd Buggy Stock 1/10th 4wd Buggy Stock Short Course 1/8th Buggy As per RCRA rules & regulations We have canteen available for refreshments and food, all money raised in the canteen will go to improving the tracks and the grounds. To become a member all you have to do is turn up to the track and find a committee member fill out your membership form and pay $30 member fee that is valid for 1 year which will entitle you to access the tracks at anytime of the day. Renewal and new membership will commence on the 1st of January 2020. We like to see all ages come out and have a go and have some fun it’s not just for adults. 12.01.2022 Hi all, Just a post of some changes and a also big thankyou to everyone who has put into the club this year personally or as a business, it’s been a tough year for all clubs and especially our own! None the less we have some exciting news and information for 2021.. #1 - The off-road track is getting a new layout change (layout sprayed up ready for earthworks date to be announced) bigger track, less islands and in terms less maintenance (mowing etc) the track will now also be... getting some surface attention with vegetable oil ready for the new layout once completed. Higher grip, less dust and bigger jumps #2 - The track will be closed for a few weeks to allow the oil to dry once we find a date amongst us (labour permitting) #3 - Also all the memberships will be due for renewals as of the 1st of January 2021 #4 - We are also still looking to fill some positions within the club so if anyone feels they would be of benefit message us on the page We hope to see some new and old members lining up at the track in the new year!! Have it be a racer or spectator all are most welcome

11.01.2022 Evening All, Its been a while since our last post and unfortunately things have not gotten any better for us. After a discussion with the Newcastle committee it... has been decided to postpone the Newcastle round of XRS (scheduled for later this month). Now whilst this itself is not good news there is something to look forward to. We are still planning to run the postponed three XRS rounds in 2020. All we need is a relaxation of the restrictions placed on us at present. HEI, XRAY, Castle Hill, Newcastle and SMA are committed to do all we can to schedule the meetings as soon as we get the official all clear. We will keep you posted of any changes to our status as soon as possible. In the mean time, redo your cars (for maybe the 4th time), check your batteries are still in shape and keep all fingers and toes crossed that we can get back out and enjoy our racing sooner rather than later. 03.01.2022 Pr racing buggy’s are ready for a practise day tomorrow with a few of the local drivers providing the rain holds out Come out to the track and see what it’s all about!

02.01.2022 As Covid 19 restrictions are eased we will return to racing the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month starting Sunday 14th of June. Both onroad and off road will be run together. Starting times will be posted 7days prior to race day. Working bee is scheduled for this Sunday 31st to do basic cleanup, mowing And whipper snipping. Starting at 10am.... Sunday the 7th from 9am to 2pm , both onroad & off road track will be open for time trial practice. Please be aware to all Covid regulations and you are responsible for your own hygiene.
