08.01.2022 This weekend is the officially the beginning of the 2019/2020 Tamworth Triathlon Series. Saturday October 26th. We're sponsored by the Kootingal Hotel and Proac...tive Physio. Big news: triathlons can be expensive for families. No more in Tamworth. If you're an adult taking part - your kids enter for free. We want triathlons to be accessible for everyone. So our decision to make kids free with mum, dad or a carer participating is so that we can all have a go and try new sports that are supportive and fun. If there is a leg you don't want to do - just talk to us and we will find someone to do it for you! We have events for every single age from 2 - 122. It's not hard. You can enter as a team and we'll help you get started. Children must be over 8 to enter any road cycling and must be accompanied by an adult - one adult per child. BUT we also have events off the road for younger children. Come and join us for a great night of support, cheering and sharing the awesomeness of the human body. We love first-timers. We love family sport. We love supporting to the finish line. Rego at Kooty pool 430-515PM. Events start at 6PM. All welcome. You don't have to be a member of our club - come and try it and have a chat. See you Saturday!! Gold coin BBQ and a cold beer at the Kooty Hotel after the events. Whooohooo .. triathlons are back!

08.01.2022 Thank you Tamworth Regional Council for keeping these kids active this summer. 80 kids in the pool swimming for health over the past two hours. Many of these ki...ds are from farming properties with little reprieve from the dry. It offers the kids and their families a vital mental and physical health outlet. Kootingal pool is operating on bore water - not suitable for drinking. The pool uses only a small amount of water as it is covered to prevent evaporation. The difference this pool makes you the Kootingal community, economy and our kids is immeasurable. Keep kooty pool open and thank you TRC. See more
