25.01.2022 We are getting giddy just thinking about how much fun the rides at the 2019 Tamworth Show are going to be!! We’ve got a massive line up this year with heaps of rides including: Super trooper Fun factory... Crazy Cars Jetson Coaster Tea cups Pony ranch Bungee trampoline Crazy fun slide Ski flyer On our must do list is the Aviator! Fly 33m up in the sky and take in the aerial view of the wonderful Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre! All at the 2019 Tamworth Show 30 Aug ~ 31 Aug ~ 1 Sept At AELEC See you there!!

21.01.2022 Who had an awesome time at last nights Sheer Showcase?!?! We’ve got another action packed day today including the Grand Parade and Official Opening at 2pm! This will feature the Governor-General of Australia opening the Show and our very own local lady Aleyce Simmonds singing the national anthem Full schedule and map in the comments! ... 20.01.2022 At the recent meeting of the Tamworth P&A show committee it was decided to proceed with planning of the 2020 Tamworth Show on the Friday 4th, Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September. We are aware of the current crowd restrictions relating to the Coronavirus and are monitoring the situation carefully. Ultimately the final decision will be made on advice from the appropriate authorities but for now THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!... In the mean time the schedules for all sections will be updated on a regular basis on the web page and social media. #tamworthshow2020

19.01.2022 U-P-D-A-T-E Tonight's scheduled committee meeting is proceeding in the Ray White Auction room at 6.30pm With the growing concerns around COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we respectfully ask anyone who is feeling unwell or who has recently traveled and has the potential to have been exposed to the virus to stay home. ... Following the social distancing guide lines all attending are encouraged to re-frain from shaking hands or hugging. We will be discussing how COVID-19 may effect our 2020 show tonight.

19.01.2022 **UPDATE** At the June meeting of the Tamworth Pastoral and Agricultural Show Management Committee it was decided to cancel the 2020 show. It was regrettable but was based on the health risks to the volunteers and the community and being financially viable.... To make the show a successful event thousands of people need to attend, participate and social distancing rules would restrict those numbers. It would not be a financially wise decision with the added cost of implementing all the COVID19 regulations, hiring of the AELEC facility and the uncertainty of the number of people through the gate to proceed with the show this year. While we are aware of restrictions slowly lifting it is important to protect the future of the show. The Tamworth Show has a duty of care to all stakeholders. The 2021 show dates are Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September. Visit our Tamworth show web page for updates.

18.01.2022 Do you have a child that fancies themselves as a bit of a cowboy or cowgirl?! Then you need to register them for their 8 second ride with the Doak Bucking Bulls team at this years Show It will be the first stand alone mini bull event in NSW so register them to be a part of history ... Catch the mini bucking bulls at the Show on both Friday and Saturday! Competition details: There will be the 8-U11 & 11-U14 event with entries via ABCRA Live. First Timers entries will be to Matthew Doak - 0428237343 or via Doak Bucking Bulls Facebook page. The First Timers will have beginner bulls and must have never competed in a mini bull event. ENTRIES CLOSE TODAY!

16.01.2022 It has been a massive 2 weeks for our 2019 Tamworth Showgirl Samantha. Sam travelled to NZ to represent the Tamworth P&A in Gore at their A&P show on Feb 1st enjoying the full Gore Show experience and sharing her passion for our local show. Over the weekend Sam also competed in the Zone Showgirl finals in Dorrigo. Unfortunately she was not selected to go on to Sydney however she was a great ambassador for Tamworth and for rural women and has made us all very proud - Well do...ne Sam. We wish Georgina Hair (Wee Waa) and Bronte Marshall (Moree) the best of luck for their step in the showgirl experience moving on to the Royal Easter Show. We had 100’s of kids from a range of schools visit and learn a little bit more about the industry. We have no doubt tonight will be just as big! Will you be here?...
