24.01.2022 I’ve been a bit quiet the last few months on here so today I’m sharing an update on my life so you get to continue know me a little better Today is my birthday! Wow where did 48 years go? ... I spent time having a lunch with my 3 wonderful kids -Corey 28, Natalie 20 and Charlotte 12 . Celebrating my life up till now and the excitement of a new birthday year ahead . My life just like yours has had some really shitty patches however I love my life because I have come through everyone of those chapters stronger and more clear on the important things and the right people I choose to share my life with who lift me up and show me through their actions how they care. For all those crap times I’ve had amazing beautiful moments of love, laughter, kindness and pure joy ! In 48 years I have already had many adventures I never even dreamed of....Egypt - me a pyramid and a camel In my role as a weight management practitioner I work with clients to help them discover their ‘why’ ...not just losing weight but what doing this will mean for them, what will it give them? It sounds like an easy question but you would be surprised to know nearly everyone I have ever worked with did not have this answer or it wasn’t clear enough! Without it- it’s easy to lose your way again For me losing my weight and learning how to manage that and be healthy both emotionally and physically started with my desire to give my son at age 2 and a half a life of fun memories with me doing active things not a mum sitting on the sidelines hiding behind baggy jumpers and tights. That original why has changed but my WHY always clear- my children are my greatest loves and my experiences with them and involvement in their lives so important to me! It means that today I spend my time with them reminiscing about lots of fun times. Sitting there looking at my healthy happy kids, feeling wonderful and hearing Nat say I look really good ‘for my age’! Taking stock of the fact that my good health has not only afforded me these memories and moments but also to manage this stressful year with a business impacted by COVID, personal ups and downs with the biggest one Charlotte bravely undergoing what became 2 major spinal surgeries and 2 weeks in hospital, 5 nights in ICU) because we found out in March this year she had a serious progressive spinal condition. (I’ve included a pic to give you just an idea ). My WHY has served me so well. My heart is full of love and gratitude and I can’t wait for many more chapters

23.01.2022 I’ve been a PT now for more than a decade (golly...where did that go!). It’s such an honour to help someone do something positive for themselves and connect and share. When I left training my clients from a main gym to create my own private studio I wondered if I would love it the same without the buzz of the gym environment- ... well I love it more For the fact I have ALL the equipment to use, clients get to huff and puff without everyone looking at them and feeling self conscious, I play my 80’s and 90’s and old Aussie rock vibes...we sing, some dance in rest periods ...I’ve even done the MC Hammer moves (for those of you who know who the hell im talking about ) And then best of all I have my personal assistant and buddy GEORGE Great way to finish the week

22.01.2022 I get so much joy when I receive unexpected messages from clients I have the pleasure of coaching...this lovely lady who is in her early 50’s has been transforming her life with me over the last 7 months. Now not only is she 10kg lighter her whole outlook and how she now takes care of herself has changed dramatically! And she is on track to achieve her ultimate goal of 20kg. Her moment WILL happen because she wants it, she understands the value of a coach and she is open ...to learning and applying the advice I can give her. She understands that the good weeks are not when my expertise helps her the most. It’s the bumps in the road that life throws our way which sees us unravel and once again start from scratch we often think we are pretty ‘healthy’ when in fact we are not. We get frustrated and peeved off that ‘nothing works’. The buck stops with you! The value of private coaching is huge....imagine what could change in your life , in how you look and feel if you followed through in the commitments and decisions you make? If you are sick on staying on the same hamster wheel and your ready to own where you are, leave it in the past and take the rest of your life by the balls and transform into who you deserve to be drop me a PM Tanisha xx

22.01.2022 Happy New Year to you all! 2020 is behind us and a new chapter begins. Can’t wait to continue to help more people overcome their emotional hurdles around weight management in 2021 and kick some serious goals myself! Had a wonderful New Years with beautiful friends- it’s going to be an awesome one.

19.01.2022 Love sharing good news!

15.01.2022 I’m so thrilled to share my recipe. I originally got a long one from the internet and then played and tweaked until it was simple, easy, nutritious and delicious. I make a pot on the weekend and then put it in portion containers and freeze for a quick go too particularly on my meat free days! If you make this I would love to get your feedback x

07.01.2022 Memories are such a precious thing! In my professional journey I have been blessed to train wonderful people all who I respect immensely for investing in themselves and giving me the joy of being their PT or Weight Management coach A third of my clients are my ‘guys’ and training sessions never dull! ... I have frequently told some of them they hit like my nana (when we are boxing) to bring out the best in them and have a good laugh....training should be something you leave feeling great both mentally and physically! This is an old memory from 2014! of a true gentleman Shane who I had the pleasure of training and helping him lose 10kgs. We always had so much fun. . This came up on my private memory feed and I wanted to share because seeing this just made me smile P.s...notice the woman in the background Would love you to share a memory of your exercise that also makes you smile? Would love to hear your comments x

05.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day to all the AMAZING mums out there! It’s been hard at times being a mum but oh how I try my best and absolutely love my 3 wonderful children Corey, Natalie and Charlotte with all my heart. Throughout our lives together we have made some amazing memories together...wish I could share them all but here are just a few!

03.01.2022 So thrilled to share a testimonial for one of my latest graduates Weight issues for men is really a silent epidemic because guys don’t like to ask for help . 60% of Australian adult males are now overweight or already obese so it is a real issue and I’m proud to be a warrior in the fight to turn it around So thrilled Gerard finally did and he’s feeling like a whole new man! ...Continue reading

03.01.2022 The COVID-19 situation has seen so many changes within us all. For all the bad things that have happened...my business has been impacted financially too, there has also been a lot of good. A chance for people to slow down, to take stock of what is important...to start looking after their health better. ... In the many years of coaching people in weight management the majority of my clients have been women. The interesting thing with COVID is now I actually have more private MALE clients !!!! Did you know in Australia Obesity and overweight adults are made up of 60% males!! Our fathers, husbands, boyfriends and brothers have been fighting their own silent epidemic....they try the pills, the diets, the potions, they go to the gym....they know they are losing their private battle and feel Less of the Young bloke they used to feel like but they just don’t talk about it. After all most guys see asking for help particularly with weightloss as a sign of weakness in their mind right? Men don’t ask for help do they...they solve our problems. They provide for our families. SO in a pandemic that is killing people and making us start to look at our health and our future I feel privileged that I offer a service to help our guys reclaim their ‘manhood’. We think woman go through menopause well I can tell you that men have their own mid life struggles too. I’ve just had 2 of my guys graduate This means they have lost the weight and are now in maintenance phase so I still coach them but not every week because now they are living a better lifestyle...I’m the training wheels now helping them stay on track and soon well those wheels will be gone. Our guys don’t gush but I’m telling you there is nothing more exciting than watching a man reclaim his sense of manhood! If you have a guy in your life that is struggling, needs help, wants to still be able to enjoy a beer and burger while being fit and healthy and juggling life and business I currently have 2 spots available to help them. I’m private, confidential and I would love to help your man be your man again Pm me if you would like a quick chat . Here is an inspirational story I saw today about a guy who found his WHY and well the story says it all. https://www.facebook.com/BornDifferentShow/videos/675807109893609/?vh=e

03.01.2022 I say it every day..but I just LOVE what I do

02.01.2022 Today we can go and see our friends.....

02.01.2022 We are in times when so many of us are struggling. You see smiles and when you ask someone how are you we are all guilty of saying 'I'm good' when in reality maybe you are not really that good. Not everyone can ask for help - we live in world where the expectation of having your s##t together all the time while never aging or gaining a pound is prevalant and soul destroying. We feel this immense pressure to have our ducks in a row. Do you remember a moment when someone did so...mething for you that seemed so simple but meant so much? To help someone does not require money or gifts....it is just the act of kindness that can make such a difference - a smile, a hug, noticing something positive about someone and letting them know. A word of gratitude, a thank you or even just to say you are truly sorry (and that does not come with a 'but' after it ).... Some years ago a lady Marissa Cummins who had been part of one of my group 12 week programs unexpectedly left a Christmas present at my door. It was an apron and a teatowel. It was so thoughtful unexpected and I loved it.....a year rolled on and so did life......then Christmas the next year was here. At this time I was still a solo mother, had been having a rough few months juggling life and building my business to be honest. A messenger message arrives while I was literally whipping creme for Christmas day - "There is something at the door for you" and there wrapped up beautifully was a gift. A new Apron and Teatowel from Marissa with some lovely words along with it. I had not had contact with Marissa for ages! I've shared this on my personal page but never on here. I'm sharing it now because this moment made me cry in a good way because in that moment I felt like I mattered when I was having an attack of self doubt.........can you identify with what I am saying? One moment yet so precious and one I will never forget. So what is yours? and who would you like to acknowledge today on my post and remind them that they did something that mattered to you? Lets spread some love and kindness today and remind someone they were the 'elephant' when we needed them xx

01.01.2022 Standing side by side in driveways as we remember them! My Grandad Tottman was on many ships during the 2nd World War. He was on Two that were hit. One by an Air Attack nd the other by Torpedo. ... HMS WOLFHOUND L56 Class Destroyer. Was bombed by Air Attack at Dunkirk, and badly damaged with a Broken Back. She was Salvaged and towed to Chatham to be repaired. HMS WELSHMAN Minelayer Feb 1st 1943 Torpedoed nd sunk off Tobruk by a German Submarine U-617 She sank very quickly after floating for 2 hours. 242 were on board nd 157 lost their lives. 85 men were Rescued by HM Escort Destroyers TETCOTT nd BELVOIR but only 9 survived. Grandad Tottman was one of the survivors after being in the water for 14 hours. He was taken to Alexandria to Re-cuperate. The Captain was also a Survivor but on returning to England he hung himself from the guilt of losing his men when it was always said that the Captain goes down with his Boat. He sailed from NZ to England in 1939 on the HMS Achilles as he was in the English Navy. Never returned back to NZ until 1946. He was a Chief Petty Officer Cook. He and my grandmother Nana Tottman never saw each other for the full 7 years. He returned to NZ nd 11 years later died of Luekemia aged just 42yrs.. He was Born in London England. Within the sounds of Beau Bells which made him a True Blue Cockney I never knew you but I’ve always been so proud of you
