25.01.2022 Introducing, the Buddy Bench! This year the TSK Committee has been heavily focused on mental health awareness and education assisting in antibullying behaviour. Sometimes, children are left feeling isolated and lonely as they navigate the complexities of life such as relationships and play. The Buddy Bench is a valuable teaching tool supporting core competencies of: ... Empathy Creativity Mindfulness Communication If a child feels lonely, they can go to the bench as a signal that they need someone to play with or talk to. Another child will be able to see them, go and talk to them and include them in their games. Thank you to Aurizon Coal at Callemondah, Gladstone for sponsoring this great initiative!
