17.01.2022 Top 3 tips for Dry Hair 1. Don’t wash your hair everyday!! This strips the natural oils from your scalp & hair which will make your already dry hair even drier. Try to skip a day or two and use a dry shampoo for the off days. Also make sure your shampoo is mild & turn the water temperature down. A cool water rinse at the end does wonders for frizz, it helps to close the cuticle. 2. Avoid using heat tools as much as possible!! Try to air dry whenever possible. High heat wrea...ks havoc on our hair, even more so when it’s dry to begin with as it’s that much more fragile. Turn your heat tools down as low as you can and adjust from there. Those using naturally-based products especially, as you do not have silicones & waxes coating your hair. 3. Use a Hair Oil! You can use this as pre-shampoo treatment, or leave it on overnight then shampoo out in the morning. You may need to shampoo 2-3 times to make sure the residual is gone.
