18.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Dear Members and Guests, Following the announcement by the Premier today, 18th of November, Tanunda Pines Golf Club will be closed from 11.59pm today for a period of 6 days.... Over this period we as staff members are not permitted to attend the course and no individual is permitted to attend the course either. The entire facility is CLOSED TO EVERYONE. Although this lockdown will cause some of you some heartache we support the decision of our state government and will do our part to get on top of this virus over the coming days and weeks. All timesheets from Thursday 19th to Tuesday 24th November have been closed to all bookings. At this stage Wednesday 25th November remains open, however I have removed all bookings and reverted to a one tee start, if you would still like to book in please do so at your preferred tee time and we will send out an update on Tuesday 24th in the afternoon once the next stage of requirements have been announced. For obvious reasons the following events in the calendar have now been cancelled/postponed: Saturday 21st November - Mixed Foursomes Wednesday 25th November - Beer Tasting If you require to contact the club over our 6 day closure, we ask that you please email [email protected] and Phil will get back to you in due course. All phones will be diverted to a mobile phone, but please understand that we have limited capabilites when not onsite, therefore if not urgent please do not call. 16.01.2022 Tomorrow, Friday 25th September, Tanunda Pines golf course will be closed for tee off after 8:15am. We are hosting a corporate golf day with a shotgun start at 12:30pm. We apologise for any inconvenience but thank all of you for your understanding. 16.01.2022 Good morning all, I am writing to seek expressions of interest to attend Barmera District Pennants to be held Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October. I have sent a... message to 20 people who have either represented in previous years or have registered interest in city pennant that was cancelled earlier in the year. If you aren't interested can you please let me know and forward this message to any male golfers off a GA handicap of less than 5.0 and any Female of golfers of GA handicap less than 45.0 that may be interested in representing Mid North Golf Association at this event. I would like all replies by no later than Monday 14th September so that I can arrange a golf catch up to determine the best available team. This event requires a total of 6 men and 4 women playing 54 holes in 2 days. 36 on Saturday and 18 on Sunday. Mid North are the defending champions from 2019 and I would like to show it was no fluke. 10.01.2022 This is an appreciation post to our greenkeepers. They have done an amazing job over the past 10 days and have the course looking amazing. Our greens were fully cored and sanded on Tuesday 13th October and they have come back as good as anyone could have hoped. These photos were taken this morning by our Golf Operations Manager whilst out playing in the Saturday competition. 08.01.2022 Today we held our 2020 Ladies Open Day. With blustery conditions early, the day turned out to be tough for scoring but enjoyable non the less. A total of 55 Ladies teed off followed by lunch and a Grenache tasting to celebrate World Grenache Day, where Prue Henschke went through a selection of Grenache offerings from Rockford Wines Cirillo Estate Wines Yalumba & Henschke just to name a few of our sponsors. ... 08.01.2022 Just some progress photos of the 18th green. Today marks 14 days since we cored and sanded our greens. Although the greens are a little softer and slower than our normal standards, they are rolling as normal. Book a round for the middle of the week and we will honour green fees at $35pp, normally $50pp. This deal is only available Monday-Friday until Friday 6th November. ... 05.01.2022 Tanunda Pines is closed to all golfers for today Monday 12th October and Tuesday 13th October. This is to help the green keepers work uninterrupted whilst our greens are being renovated. Whilst the course is closed the driving range, proshop and bar facilities remain open. When we reopen on Wednesday 14th October all green fees will be reduced to $25pp until Friday 23rd October. We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you all back for a round of golf soon.

03.01.2022 We had 17 brand new arrivals late this afternoon! The first golf club in South Australia to select electric blue as our hire carts. With our logo in gold these carts certainly look spectacular. With our total fleet size now being 25 carts we have the biggest fleet of carts for hire in the Northern suburbs. These carts could not have arrived at a more perfect time, with all carts booked out this Saturday until after 2:30 and booked out again on Sunday until after 1:30....
